I did enjoy your reaction. I know in late 90s in cardiac clinic we used the thump as 1 ran for defibrilator/crash cart. Sometimes it worked. Hope u show more reactions. Have a great week!
@@DrCellini it’s based in Atlanta my favorite episode has to be either the 3rd season Halloween episode or the 2nd season episode called virtually impossible spoiler alert a triple surgery is performed in virtually impossible
No way, Dr. Cellini you're an inspiration to me and the fact that you're from Atlanta (like I am) makes me want to pursue my physician career even more :)
There is an episode of code black where the ER resident does an IR procedure in the ER that he remembers from his IR rotation if you want to check it out.
Hi, first thing I love your videos, second could you make a video about IR pathways and how can IMGs improve themselves to get directy in IR or in IR fellowship
I’ve really been loving the content recently, it’s educational and exciting to watch! And if this is how it’s been in your last year of residency I cannot wait to see how it is when you’re an attending! Looking forward to the future of your channel and as always I hope you guys are doing well! Also I have a medical school admission symposium this weekend that I’m extremely excited for! Anyways hope you guys are still doing well and that Andriana is doing well after getting the vaccine!
Hey Dr. Cellini! Love your videos. You mentioned that before/during medical school you thought you would do anesthesiology. What was your ah-ha moment to make you choose IR?
Have these videos ever been flagged for copyright issues? When I made my first reaction video RU-vid took it down and I couldn’t get it back for like 60 days. Super annoying. And yeah it was Hahnemann, I had a classmate who went there, shut down like the first week of her internship. 😣 can’t even imagine how stressful that’d be
You need to get to know the characters in this show and watch from the beginning. It's one of my favorites. Crazy unrealistic crap but it's fun. Also the people doing the interventional procedure are surgeons.
Why was there no spoiler alert in the title 😭 I fast forwarded and seen Nic getting stabbed and was so confused and shocked lol I still loved the video though your reactions are hilarious 😂
Your first reaction was hilarious and wait whsts just happened, I couldn't stop laughing. They shoot all over Atlanta, the show is popular. Do private practice in Atlanta.
One of my all time favorite medical dramas has always been an oldie from the 1990's, it's called, "ER." Not sure if you know of it. It ran for like 15 years. Please check it out, let me know what you think.
Pericardial thump was thought to me in my original ACLS class back in 1997. Must be a witness Cardiac Arrest and back then the thought was the pt would have not been wired for monitoring or a VFib, or VT on the monitor. Yet likewise never seen performed.
Can't just jump in to the current episode. The hospital is empty, most all equipment gone, only a few docs left. Chest thump guy is preggo's husband, self suture lady is preggo's BF. Preggo is a head nurse. Vent guy is neurosurgeon, but also not a nice guy. His karma is coming. Watch them all, it's a good show. 👍👍👍
NP, yes, and also married to the Chief Resident of the hospital. Probably not realistic having ANY patients there, notwithstanding this emergency exception, because the hospital is virtually shut down as a result of sale. No working defib equipment, who knows where a fetal monitor can be found, much less an Obstetrician. Gotta love TV drama. Pack a lot into 39 minutes requiring much plasticity of reality and active imagination on the part of viewers.
@@ManleyClan I loved the episode. My current favorites are Transplant and The Resident. I'm not in the medical field. I grew up on ER and Chicago Hope so these shows are the newest version. Be blessed. One 💘 Peace and hair grease
Good stuff ! I may do some doctor reacts myself. Not soon ! Just finish COVID ICU and my next vid will be on that. I did do a reality vs TV video about Trauma and running to the helicopter !
New to your channel, your videos are great. It was Hahnemann Hospital that closed in Philly. If you and Andriana are ever in the city, my daughter owns an amazing vegan restaurant in South Philly. @missrachelspantry Take out only for now until the pandemic is over. Keep up the great content!
They were closing the hospital and had sold a ton of their equipment and they weren’t able to transfer her or any of them because all the other hospitals were full (I’m a resident fan aha) so they hardly had equipment to do what they had done let alone do it as procedurally as they probably should have 😅 also Caine is a doctor from that hospital who wasn’t really a good guy to say it nicely and he was in an accident a couple episodes ago. Only critique I have about the show is how unfriendly Conrad is.. I wouldn’t think he’d have such a big position at a hospital with the attitude and mannerisms and such he can present with sometimes (that’s just my thoughts) :)
The black pt who fell out of bed is a jerk neurosurgeon who’s getting his due! When I started nursing in ‘80, a precordial thump was part of BLS and ACLS.
I generally like medical dramas, but the resident is a pretty poor one. The show’s only good point is the leading actor and actress, not only they are hot but also good actors.
OT but Dr.Bell had the BEST Character development in all TV shows... He was such a jerk but changed over time and not because to fit into the show but because of growth
