In this video I will be comparing the salaries of medical interns and residents and specialists in the United Kingdom (UK), the United States (US), and Australia in USD dollar for the sake of uniformity Additionally, I will also factor in local cost of living in each MAJOR CAPITAL CITIES to draw a conclusion about which country offers the best financial prospects for medical trainees and specialists

Another thing to conder is work hours . From what I know in Australia & Uk you have 40 hrs / week & that's what the basic salary is based on . Working more than that would be considered overtime . Whereas in max work hour limit for doctors is 80 hrs / week . That would significantly affect the per hour income

Another big factor to consider is the length of training period. For example an internal medicine residency in the US is only 3 years Vs Australia is minimal 7 years! And keep in mind it could be longer based on the progression. That’s 4-5 years more spent in training while you could be making $250-300k USD/year in US. Lastly the progression of resident in Australia is not only based on knowledge but also on interpersonal skills as well. Can be a hurdle for IMGs that are finding it difficult to adjust.

Tax deductions, superannuation are individual based on tax deductible expenses done in a financial year. Based on tax deducted and tax deductible expenses to claim back individual tax returns can vary anything between $5K to 15K for junior doctors. You can see it's hard to factor them in.

Sir my main reason to move out of my country is to live a peaceful life with not much population and good fresh environment. Pollution free air and natural beauty. Is there less population density in Australia, or is it also densely populated. Is vehicle traffic on roads very much or mostly roads are empty and we can have a pleasant drive??

It depends on where you live in Australia . The big cities like Melbourne and Sydney.. no . But almost everywhere else, yes you can achieve that

Hey, simply put - working in Australia requires graduation and passed AMC 1 as a foundational requirement, but it does not guarantee a job unless you present the perfect CV, ace your interview, and stud your profile with excellent qualifications!
