Wish mine worked that well. I’m on 2 different inhalers, but it doesn’t matter cause I actually have MCAS so inhalers do nothing for me! 😑😔 Pulmonologist wanted me to go on an injectable medication for Eosinophilic Asthma. Why? When because I have MCAS it will only treat 1 symptom and not all the other ones that plague me every. Single. Day. 😭
Hi, I just got an inhaler today, I am using Breztri, I tried to do what it says in your video but I have an aftertaste and a little numbness on my cheeks. I did rinse with water and brushed my teeth. I’m scared of thrush. What am I doing wrong? Also, how soon after using inhaler can you eat?
Those who has asthma I recommend to take high dose of vitamin D3 about 20,000 IU along with complex of magnesium to activate vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 complex to absorb everything. Good luck on your journey! It should help you to forget about your asthma and live regular life again. 👍 This sprays are only temporary symptoms relief and nothing more than that. 🤔
Im not a huge supplement fan for most people, but agree vitamin d and magnesium are great options for many reasons. The ‘reliever’ inhalers only give temporary relief (but can be life-saving’, whereas the ‘preventers’ are important for keeping asthma under control.
Asthma symptoms appear gradually and include wheeze, tight chest and a cough. Get checked out if you’re not sure. Viral coughs come on quickly and can have similar symptoms, but settle again.
Hi! I’m a doctor 👩🏻⚕️☺️. Evidence shows that for most adults who are using inhalers correctly, there is no benefit to a spacer. Let’s save the environment and reduce plastic waste!
It been a week since i got my inhaler do you hv any tips how to lower it Im very scared bc i mostly get attacks in night during sleeping What should i do?
You need to get advice from a healthcare professional. It’s vital you get the right treatment to control your asthma and you should have a plan so you know how to manage it.
My question is, you prime it when it's new, I was recently told by a nurse that if I don't use it for about four or five days (Ventolin) to prime it as if it was new. She said that I was probably only getting propellant and not medication which is why I felt it was doing nothing. I know with COPD the effect isn't instantaneous like with asthma and I have a spacer to help with delivery, I also know to shake it. So true or false?
Evidence shows that most adults do not benefit from the use of a spacer as long as they using their inhaler correctly! It is just a huge waste of plastic for most of the time.
@@DrSophieGP no, it's an entirely reasonable comparison. Spacers for inhalers, dietary fiber, and seatbelts in cars all have benefits but rarely save your life.
@@diablominero Most adults will get exactly the same benefit from using an inhaler correctly without a spacer. You do not get the same benefits from using or not using a seatbelt, or eating or not eating fibre, hence, false equivalence.
