I remember Kwon Dae Hee’s tragic story. He was simply left to bleed out on the plastic surgeon’s table after his procedure. An assistant was in the room with him after the procedure was complete but she was so focused on her phone, she didn’t notice the huge puddle of blood on the floor until it was too late. He lost 3 liters of blood and died shortly after arriving at the hospital. Thank goodness his mom fought to make changes in the plastic surgery industry.

I got chin and lip filler a few months ago and the doctor said he wanted before and after pics and i consented thinking not much. When i saw the before photos i was shocked because they edited the lighting so much that made me look like i was 20 years older than i am to make their results look better than they are !

As a hairdresser in a high class salon, i have seen a lot of facelift scars and this looks definitely different than what I've seen.

I’ve always found the ‘patients being transformed into dolls’ trope very interesting for horror games, like Mad Father and Poppy Playtime!! theres plastic surgery made to enhance natural features, and then theres this.. i don’t even know what to call it… the saddest thing about this to me is how he makes them look so much lighter than their natural skin tone. maybe that’s an effect of the pulling and pressure on the skin, but it just seems like so many of them end up so much whiter than they came in. all of these people are so beautiful in different ways, and dont at all need to have a different skin colour to show their beauty. i know skin lightening is similar in asian countries to tanning in north america/the uk, i even do a light tan myself, so it’s not like changing skin appearance is something exclusive to asia, but it makes me so sad seeing it to this extent. i wish no one felt the need to change their identity to this extent. 💔

I am 100% certain that Dr Kim himself might have been a certified surgeon, who was liked for his work. Shady illegal plastic surgeons then took the façade of working for him in a specialized institution, while not being professionals at all. It is all super scary and is a big piece of motivation to never undergo such a surgery. Simple mistakes can cause you to bleed out, have internal bleedings, dead skin or become paralyzed or numb. The only lesson behind all this is, keep your face folks, looking better for a few years isn't worth your health and all the pain and money going into all that.

The fact that people are actually picking someone to literally butcher them only from a social media account is absolutely insane!! I'm so glad I like the way I look.

My theory is that: a) The doctors licenses have been revoked at one point and they conduct cheap procedures in different parts of the word b) Asian beauty standards viewed by the doctors are just like that, extreme. Procedures took a long a time to heal, were oddly performed to unsuitable patients. There is a lot of times where plastic surgeons show the before and after with simple visual tactics to make the results look better. Most of the time it's the angle and stuff but because south east asian filters are so popular they probably used it anyway.

It's stories like this that make mistrust anyone in the medical field. I've had a lot of bad experiences with doctors and nurses. I don't trust any of them. I flat out refuse to go to doctors, unless it's something that I absolutely cannot do at home myself. And you bet your I'm taking a cab if I have to go to the ER.

This might not be relevant, but there's a documentary online about the predatory plastic surgery industry in China. They're into some very extreme plastic surgery in Asia in general-- more extreme than what we see in the West. I see a cross over happening in the West, though-- many people are trying to look like anime cartoons/little loli girls. Many young men are more attracted to lolis and anime girls than they are to human beings, so I'm sure this will become more "popular" in the West.

The guy from Spain is the “tell” for me. He’s famous now and could make a lot of money on an interview but he never been seen. Anyone seeing him in town would film and upload the sightings but nobody has. If he was a recluse he wouldn’t of done the surgery. The others are not so easy to call out. I think I may have seen the oldest lady about a year ago at my Oregon Home Depot. I seen her from behind and thought she was a cute Grandma and then the face shocked me so much I had to realize it’s an old lady meant to look young and a strange look I had to hold it together not to stare.

I was in a bad car accident and broke my eye socket and few other facial bones. The dr wanted to do surgery. He want to put a plate and pin in and do a face lift. I met a young man that had the same surgery done a few years before. He was in so much pain it hurt to even blink or smile. It was scary! I went MIA at the hospital. Later the hospital found me and wanted me to have a phyc evaluation saying no one in their right mind would turn a free surgery down like this. I dont think I was the crazy one. My face healed up with not even any scars. U cant even tell I was in a wreck without the surgery. I can only imagine how it would have been if i had went through with it.

They're showing pics of them before they're healed. I had a tummy tuck and for at least a couple years my stomach was tight, almost uncomfortably tight. It took years to loosen up a little. Plastic surgery rarely comes out the way people expect. I'd like to see some of these patients a year later, they may look better. My aunt had her eye lids lifted, for a couple months she looked like someone scared her, but eventually they healed and looked normal. Idk, just do your research and even then, you don't know if you'll turn out the way you expect.
