Before my facial skin looked dry and dull constantly, even upon waking. But after I conducted a bit of study and made some changes, my face began bright and glowing within a short span of weeks. This is what I did: I consumed a balanced diet that included items such as dal, roti, green vegetables, and brown rice. This helped heal my body from the inside. I applied a face wash with the appropriate pH level and had black rice water. I opted for the Litlextraa riceberrry face wash, and it performed nice for my skin. I formed it a regular practice to drink at least 2 liters of water daily. I engaged in physical activity on a daily basis, this made me sweating and removed impurities from my body.

TIME STAMPS: 2:07 Nykaa Saffron and Honey Cleanser (Terrible,no actives and she would AVOID) 3:21 Mama earth Ubtan face wash (has coconut oil which is not good for acne skin, it has glycerin and niacinamide, but it has physical scrub agents) 4:56 Cetaphil Oily skin cleanser (No actives and has fragrance, AVOID) 5:18 Plum green tea cleanser (It has both chemical and physical exfoliants which leads to irritation, NOT FOR ACNE SKIN and AVOID) 6:22 Bioderma Sebum Gel cleanser (no actives and has fragrance, AVOID) 6:40 Dot and key deep pore cleanser (no actives has fragrance so AVOID) 7:06 Neutrogena oil free acne wash (no actives and has fragrance AVOID) Ladies and Gentlemen pls welcome Dr.V's favourite cleanser(even my fav cleanser) 7:35 BE MINIMALIST SALICYLIC ACID AND LHA CLEANSER (Highly recommends it, go buy it!!) 7:55 Suganda Centella Green tea facewash (Go for unscented one, she recommends it.) It's interesting the Neutrogena acne wash has 2% SA in it here in the States. It's sort of a long time favorite of derms here in the States. I like their newer stubborn texture acne cleanser here in the States much better

Qn: can I also use Paula's Choice retinol + bakuchiol on days when I use salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide? Or apply on it's own without salicylic acid and BP? Hey Dr V. I don't know what I would do without you and your recommendations for the skin of color. I'm an Indian guy with oily, acne prone skin. I had really bad acne spots and hyperpigmentation on my face. One day I discovered your channel and since then my skin has been so much better. Been using salicylic acid serum and cleanser + niacinamide along with a good moisturizer and wearing spf50 everyday. The dark spots have reduced significantly and I feel great about my skin. Salycylic acid cleanser of minimalist is a bit harsh on the skin...i have been using this for a while now and everytime after i finish washing , my face burns...and im actually very gentle with my hands when im washing my face but it still happens...so anyone thinking of buying it, im just letting u know...u can still use it but maybe wear a very hydrating and soothing moisturizer after
