Just found you about 1.5 months ago as I’m in my 40s & was looking for a new skin care system for my Oily skin bcuz wasn’t seeing results needed with what I was using! Would you PLEASE consider adding picture pop ups in your video of actual products as you’re sharing/recommending products routines???? PLEASE!!! 😄😄😄 It’s a bit confusing hearing all of the skin care terminologies (that are NEW to probably most ppl since not our area of expertise) and you’re talking fast along your beautiful accent…. It’s just SOOO hard to keep up. For example as you’re going through AM & PM routines, it would be WONDERFUL to see pops ups on let’s say the TOP RIGHT of the screen to show examples of products (of course that are Dr. V recommended) that fit & have the ingredients that you’re talking about for ppl with OILY skin. Then on the TOP left show the products that woman of color with Dry skin would choose from. This way, it’s not just the terms or words on the screen that we see, but we can actually SEE the Dr V recommended products that include what you’re talking about.Your top 3 Products (cleansers, moisturizers, toners, retinol, SPF 50s, for AM & PM, etc) would be sufficient. Of course I’m sure there could be more. But, this gives us the education & tips you’re sharing ALONG WITH a VISUAL to connect what you’re talking about, to. I hope this makes sense. ❗️It would be SO HELPFUL, in my opinion, if this same video was made available but including a visual of actually products that you’ve recommended from various brands you’ve told us about in other videos: The ordinary, Face theory, Paula‘s choice, etc. to name a few. I was just thinking the same watching this because anything Science based causes my brain to shut down fast! 🤣🤣🤣 I'm thinking, uh huh, uh huh, which products, which products?!! 🤣 I totally love Dr V. She's the only one out there giving it to us straight. Can you another follow up video to this for people with super sensitive skin. Some brands claim to be for sensitive skin and actually burns. I use Vanicream but don’t like their new moisturizer. It broke me out. Can’t wear sunscreen because it burned my skin in the past. Thank you

I've never used sunscreen before everyday so it feels like it's not doing anything but I'm hoping that as I'm now using it everyday it will help my skin to remain free of further blemishes as I do have a few ☺️

Dr. V thank you for sharing your knowledge. I've always done my double cleansing with Argan oil, followed by my PC perfectly balanced foaming cleanser. I suffer from Rosacea, and it has done great things to my skin.

The three she mentioned she said won’t break you out, I believe she means won’t clog your pores. Squalane, Marula, and jojoba. I have acne and I’ve used both jojoba and squalane without breakouts. You can get squalane from The Ordinary. Hope that helps

Thanks so much for sharing Dr. V. Have learned so much. I've gone thru chemo in pill form in early 40s. Should I be taking care of my skin more in 50s category. My skin is definitely drier. Maybe this is a separate video although I definitely know that adds variables. Am going to start seeing a dermatologist.

I had lasik done almost 20 years ago. I been using expensive retinol skin care products for the past month. It’s affected now my cornea. I’m going to see my Hollywood eye doctor this week. I hope there’s a way of getting the retinol out of my body before it makes me blind. Any intake on this?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, I was told that you can't mix Retinol with Vitamin C. You said put moisturizer on with Vitamin C as one of the ingredients then Retinol and Moisturize again. I have been using Retinol for years and I am about to incorporate it with your products I just ordered. I hope I burn my skin. lol

Dear Vanita, What is the ciritical wavelenght of your mineral sunscreen? Required 370 nm? I agree that mineral sunscreens are better than chemical ones, but because chemical and tinted sunscreens stain clothing in yellow, beige, brown etc. I apply mineral sunscreens on face, ears, lips, both sides of the neck, upper chest and hands and I use three products: cream, stick and lotion. If I use organic sunscreen, I only use the new Avene product with their patented hybrid filter TriAsorB which covers UVA and blue light up to 450 nm. Given that it colors textile in yellow even before washing, I use it only on face and ears and if I am in a mood for that. Thank you!
