Paula's choice does a 1% BHA - their calm 1% BHA. It's available in a 30ml trial size and the full size. I use this 1% BHA once a week to keep my pores clear in the t zone - I have very dry skin and use a lot of rich creams. I use a 5% mandelic acid on the perimeter of the face from by Wishtrend. As I use a small amount of the BHA and it's in a gel/serum texture it lasts AGES and I'm still using the same 30mls for over 6 months. Obviously used frequently the full size will be more economical to use, but it spreads well and doesn't need to be over applied. I have rosacea prone skin and this is gentle enough (when my skin isn't in a flare) to be used regularly. I did up my usage to twice weekly during the humid Summer we had in Scotland, due to all the longwear spf I was using. Hope that helps.

Cerave SA renewing cleanser has about 0.5% Salicylic acid. With gentle ingredients like ceramides, hyaluronic acid, glycerin, etc. So, I think it can be a good exfoliator for pre-teen sensitive skin!😊

Hi Doctor V, I just ordered your lip kit a long with your Daily skincare kit. I’m so excited ! I’m from the US, I forgot to add your sunscreen to my cart until after I ordered everything. When I went back to purchase I noticed the shipping is 20$ for the US so I ended up not ordering the sunscreen with my other stuff :( do you have any recommendations for sunscreen 🧴 I really would have just preferred to buy yours but considering I ordered it the same day and still have to pay another 20 would have killed my wallet. After watching your Good Molecules review, I purchased the niacinamide brightening toner with vitamin C, arbutin and licorice root extract because it's easily accessible than Paula. I am in love with this toner and the Good Molecules brand. My skin has completely changed within a month just using your recommendations.

@@taylorredmond4587 Hey, I hope it helps. Test it on your hand first. I have dark spots also. I haven't gotten breakouts for the month since I started using it. I should mention I have an entire face schedule. Certain days for vitamin A, other days for vitamin C. I also include hyaluronic acid, niacinamide and (super peptide) into my plan. Super peptide and niacinamide on days I am not using vitamin A and C.

hey, I use the toner day and night, as it was recommended. **Disclaimer: I tried getting some of the products Dr V recommended, but due to COVID and shipping issues couldn't get a lot. Therefore, I tried out some items that were suggested not to use because it was available. I Did the hand and behind the ear test. Especially for the Exfoliant and vitamin C). Sunday - Good Molecules (GM) exfoliant with Cerave moisturiser in the tub. Mon, Wed, Fri nights, I use Cerave Retinol resurfacing serum with GM hyaluronic acid, daily brightening and niacinamide serum with Cerave night cream. Tue, Thur, Sat nights, I use Cerave Vitamin C (I tried hard to get another option, but couldn't), GM hyaluronic acid, daily brightening serum and Cerave moisturiser in the tub. During the day, I use the toner and GM daily brightening serum with a super peptide with Cerave SPF 30(only because I am working from home and don't go outside). Once I walk out the door, I only use daily brightening serum and Neutrogena Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50. I've read that it sometimes takes 6 months to see results so, I'll stick with this routine until then. My skin didn't react with GM and Cerave. I did get the purging with Niacinamide. I've only been using the vitamin C for 3 weeks and retinol for 1 week. I tried not to shock my face and introduced those new products one week after the other.

I have been using Thayers ALCOHOL FREE TONER for about 4 years and it has cleared my hormonal acne. Also, I have combination skin with eczema and it has helped my redness on my chin. I think that if it works for your skin, then use it. Dont knock it until you try it. Also, the big thing is making sure the toner has no alcohol. I rather using natural stuff like with hazel then paying a bunch of money for chemical peels etc.

Hi Dr V since discovering you earlier this year I have been taking steps towards better skincare. I scaled down my products after constant irritation and now only cleanse, occasionally exfoliate but RELIGIOUSLY use Cerave & cetraben. 🙌🏾 🙌🏾 Now that my skin is more stable I’m ready to try the ordinary products for anti ageing but have recently come across Superdrug’s version of the Ordinary and would love your view of the Me range.

Please Dr V, can you talk about the Acwell Toner. I used the good molecules niacin-amide toner for about 6 weeks. I noticed I broke out more and I usually hardly break out. My routine is very simple, Cerave foaming cleanser, the ordinary hyaluronic acid and niacinamide at alternate days, Dr V exfoliate to glow every Saturday night and Cerave night renewing face cream/ or Cerave cream alternative days. I just need a perfect toner now

Hi! Dr. Vanita Mm first time asking you hope you answer me... I'm gonna start from the very beginning..ten years ago I started applying everything I could just to make my (knees, elbows, underarms, sensitive area, eye circles, lips, etc..) hyperpigmentation disappears..I tried A LOT of homemade creams and exfoliating scrubs with natural organic ingredients, I tried dry brushing twice every day..whenever I heard of a anything that treat this proplem I just go and buy it no matter the price...I spent all my money and efforts day and night but got no results...recently i get to know you and watched some of your videos and so your website..l was about to buy your kit, but then knew that I couldn't cuz now I'm getting a laser treatment for body hair...so IF there is anything I can do right now (another homemade treatments) or anything I'm all ready just tell me 😢 Hope that you can help me💔
