What I love about Dr. V is that she doesn't tell you to buy just any product. She does the research for you to make educated purchases. As a woman of color understanding most products aren't made with people of color in mind, it's great to know someone who understands the medical as well as the physical immediate and long term results. I wish she would post more frequently. Dr. V I have a problem finding sunscreens, moisturizers and other facial products that does not create hyperpigmentation. Everything I use, even some of the Good Molecules products create hyperpigmentation all over. Any advice/recommendations? Thank you.
Hi Dr V. As a retired African American woman living on a fixed income can you please review the following. I usually purchase these on sale with a coupon. You have reviewed Olay, but not these. Olay regenerist micro sculpting cream(red jar). Regular and ultra. Olay tone perfection serum b3+vitamin C. Olay age defying cleanser. And CeraVe facial toner. This would help me greatly because I buy between Olay and CeraVe on sale with coupons. Other products you recommend I cannot find on sale with coupons. Trying to age as best as I can with the income I have. Thank you for all informative information you have given.
Dr v I live in USA n I have dry skin also very dull wth uneven skin plus malasma, can u plz recommend good vitamin c n toner. I love Cerave's moisturizer because of the creamy texture and it feels so good on my skin but Lord have mercy it crashes terribly with anything I apply afterwards, (sunscreen, foundation) it makes my foundation look dry, patchy and powdery. I now only use it at night before bed with another layer of shea butter. I'm now looking for another daytime moisturizer hopefully that won't crash with my makeup
Could you please make the AM & PM moisturizers the SAME size as the CeraPep moisturizer? Please. I can’t keep ordering them because that shipping cost is awful I run out fast they are so small :(.

So I did the skin test where I washed my face and then went an hour without washing my face and it felt tight and dry. So I assume I have dry skin right? However, I’m also acne prone and throughout the day, my nose sweats and you can literally see it shiny from all the oil. So I’m confused with my skin and what moisturizer is best. I purchased the Cera Pep Brightening moisturizer, but is that ok or should I opt for gel?

Hi ma'am, I literally follow you blindly..Im really hoping you would reply and hence writing this.. Please me know if this is the right combination.. I use klairs vit c serum with 5% L ascorbic acid and 3 - 4 pH in the morning and minimalist 0.3 retinol with coenzyme and bakuchiol in the night.. on your advice I will decide to whether continue these or not.. Also, my acne marks turn into skin pits and its very difficult to get rid of them. The above products do no irritate my skin but still want to know whether they are okay.. Also kindly suggest or do a video on acne pits..Thankyou..
