This was Doctor Who back to its absolute best. The writing, the heart breaking acting, the red herrings and misdirection. The hide behind your sofa scares. That reveal. Bring on next week!
Absolutely fabulous episode! and a fabulous reaction to match. The "dog" that appeared on top of the TARDIS is actually Sutekh's true form - what a brilliant & chilling reveal that was. 11/10 for me!
As you already know and others told you, Sutekh appeared in Classic Doctor Who in "Pyramids of Mars". Pyramids of Mars is a Fourth Doctor story and is one of the best and I can't wait for you to get to the Fourth Doctor and to that episode!
Sutekh one the greatest and most powerful evil villains in the history of Dr. Who i look forward to when you get to the Tom Baker era which is miles away for you.
The Doctor told Ruby that Time Lords use regeneration to save their lives or sometimes to hide themselves away with new face. Then just a few scenes away we hear Mrs Flood say that she’s always hiding herself away. I think that she’s Susan and that will be the last twist as next episode and the season ends.
Or she could just simply be another Time Lord. I don't think they will bring Susan back because for starters shes stuck on 22nd century earth, it's been 60 years the general public won't know who she is and I think it would be a disservice to Carole Ann Ford who is still with us to recast someone and not ask her back .
Love your reactions! I haven't even seen Pyramids of Mars in like 10 years, but the reveal still worked for me. Definitely the best part of the episode for me. A bit frustrated how "The Legend of Ruby Sunday" wasn't really about Ruby Sunday, but next week's episode will get to fix that.
