This edit for the series I am making for the 60th anniversary is about my favourite friendships in series 3 (+Torchwood) which are Martha's friendships with the Doctor & Captain Jack (Owen Harper is also included in this edit because his friendship with Martha is fantastic & well, Owen Harper is one my favourite Whoniverse characters of all time & I needed an excuse to shove him into one of these edits) because the wonderful Martha has such brilliant scenes with these characters.
I originally wasn't going to use this song as it was my gran's favourite that she & my grandad used to dance to & it was played at her funeral but it just fit so perfectly with the edit I had created, so I dedicate this edit to my granny & grandad, who saw the first ever episodes of Doctor Who when they aired & were also avid Whovians like myself.

Martha Jones, the woman who shakespeare wrote sonnets about! She saved the doctors life countless times, kept him safe from the family of blood in 1913, not to mention the fact that she kept a roof over his head whilst they were trapped in 1969 by the weeping angels! She travelled the earth alone for a year and defeated the master using the power of words! Martha Jones is one of the best companions ever! ❤😊

@hollymatton474 I couldn't have put it better myself, I love Martha Jones, I love everything that she was to the show & all that she did. Martha Jones, the woman who saved the world during the year that never was, adored by Shakespeare, honarary Torchwood member, the woman Owen Harper died to protect, her love for the Doctor that led her to saving him so many times in more ways than one & the woman who found happiness of her own with one Mickey Smith!
