Doctor Who: A Short Tribute to the Actors Lost to Time 

Sydney Newman the BBC executive who created Dr. Who passed away in 1997, and the show's original producer Verity lambert passed away in 2007. It was they who gave the show its look, feel, humor, well everything.

Did you notice that most of them didn't reach the age of 70. So sad :(

For a show all about time travel we can always go back and see them.

Mary Tamm was one of the most beautiful actresses to appear in the series.

Mary Tamm was my teenage crush . And I was so sad when I heard she died of cancer. I've never cried 😭 so hard for any other actress . Since . She was my favorite Timelady 🥰 and will always be 🧛

It's sad that Ian marter passed on his birthday but Rest in peace all of you, you were very helpful and doctor who would have never been without you

Sadly Deborah Watling ( Victoria Waterfield) Passed away on July 21st 2017 R.I.P Deborah Watling ( January 2nd 1948-July 21st 2017) Due to Lung Cancer.

I had no idea Elisabeth Sladen had died... An amazing actress, resting peacefully somewhere else.

RIP John Hurt (this video was made in 2012, so of course he wouldn't be here... Yet). Most of us miss Lis Sladen... I went weepy at all of them. Nicholas Courtney... Ian Marter (only having 42 years old, by a heart attack). Mary Tamm... For me, as beautiful and delicate woman as Lis was... Still gorgeous at her last days as Lis was... Cancer was the murderer, like on Lis. If Cancer had a human or animal physical form, i will be stabbing at it over and over again... It took many relatives of mine, uncles, aunts, even two princesses i had at School days, Sylvia (41 years old on 5 of December, 2013), and Nancy (44, at 2016). It's not easy losing two girlfriends at two different moments at School! A third one lives. She has Severe Multiple Sclerosis, like original Iron Maiden drummer Clive Burr had and now he passed away... Her name is Nadja. I still visit her and hug her... And love her. Since i am single again, i can hug her and kiss her... Pray for her to live until being a very old woman with white hair, and i promise to you all (i promised to her already) that she will always be my loved one, and i don't have any intention to look for another woman. Until we both get old... Would you all please pray for her life and for the love we still feel to each other? Until the end of the world. Amen.

While watching all those people and when they were born made a 60-year-old fellow like me feel young in comparison.

There's something "Brent Spinnerish" in Richard Hurndall's face. Such similarity with Data. Maybe it's just a play of light and shadow, but definitely lots of Data in there.

If you decide to update this video, I would suggest that you add in the character the actor played - I didn't recognize a number of actors. Did they only play a minor role? Also, the age at the time of death would also be helpful.

I think our War Doctor should be added.. for such a short few minutes, he gave a lasting impression. What an actor.

Suggestion: In future when making these kind of things, put the actors age at death ( like Wikipedia does ). Otherwise viewers are stuck with quickly having to work it out before the next one comes on, which detracts from the viewing. We like to think of people in shows we enjoy having long happy lives, but for people like Ian Marter in this video that was not to be, sadly.

Ah, folks, isn`t it a shame that we have to grow old and die ? But at least the memories of some of us will linger on into the future...and who knows ?, perhaps some young person in the far flung future will power up their Quantum computer , look at the Doctor and say... " Wow !, this person is so cool ! "
