I'm writing a spin-off midquel that talks about 2 siblings called the Sheridans, an older brother named Drew and a younger sister named Nicole. Both siblings had very *strong* feelings for the same couple: Amy and Rory. But chances are, neither one of them had interest in the 2 siblings and only saw them as friends. Drew, 2 years older than Amy, had a big crush on her and would often try and watch her going around and doing some things she did. Either by herself or with friends. Whatever Amy did, Drew never got his eye off of her and had kept all his hopes up hoping that he will marry her someday in his near future as an adult. Meanwhile, Nicole, Drew's younger sister, was friends with Rory. Both had attended the same class together and were both the same age. During her childhood, Nicole would often spend times with Rory for hours and this all happened waaaaaaaaay before Rory had fell in love with Amy. Rory and Nicole were always together, and I mean, like... *ALWAYS.* They would usually play tag or played as zookeepers since Nicole had a huge passion for animals. Also during her childhood, Nicole had a *HUGE* crush on Rory and she still did even as an adult. So, with that being said, this is why I should really felt and maybe you should too. It would've been better if Amy and Rory did not marry each other and they should've ended up with their 2 childhood sweeties. Amy should've ended up with Drew, while Rory should've ended up with Nicole. Don't you agree with all of that???

I mean Rory is the one that started the pain is a competition thing with the "We both know I love you more then you love me" comment. And I think Amy's point was that Rory waited for Amy knowing he was going to see her, while Amy broke up with him thinking they're love was gone. And You are right pain is not a competition. I think both parties felt like they loved the other person more then the other person loved them, which is very common in a relationships. And the foreshadowing of this is that in episode 5 we find out Amy loved Rory just as much as Rory loved Amy.

She also tried making out with the Doctor on their wedding day. She's always throwing him away and while she's right that she loves him she's never ever told him that.

She never deserved Rory.

Yes, that's called a character arc. She had spent years of her life obsessing over the Doctor (did you forget the multiple psychologists), building him up to be this amazing, grand figure to the point where she literally saw him as a GOD (the God Complex) - and she mistook that for attraction. Literally her entire character arc in that season revolves around her getting over that, and learning to see the Doctor for what he really is - and as soon as that happens, she realises she's not attracted to him. She's in love with Rory. Also, she had literally just had a near death experience, and the brain has immense difficulty handling near death experiences. It does tend to screw with your behaviour a bit. Y'all complain about the characters having normal human flaws; and then when the show responds by taking away those flaws, you complain about the character being a Mary Sue!

It's also worth noting that even if you ignore that the lack of children isn't the real, underlying problem here - adoption isn't EASY. People always say "just adopt" like it's no big deal - it's a huge deal. First of all not everyone can adopt; you have to fit a certain set of requirements. Then there's the really common occurrence where you get the adoption all set up and ready to go... and then the birth parents change their mind.

This prompts a jealous Nicole to become so envious towards Amy and held a REALLY big grudge on her. At the same time, her older brother, Drew Sheridan, had eyes for the redhead Amy. He was just about a couple years older than her. But he had held VERY strong feelings for Amy and, like his sister, still did as an adult. Chances are neither Drew and Rory nor Amy and Nicole NEVER got along with each other and most of the time Nicole would always play pranks on Amy or wouldn't stop bother her and tried making every prank to sabotage Amy and Rory both being together and make Rory come back to her. As for her brother, Drew never liked Rory. But was very calm and polite whenever he saw him with both him and Amy together. And in one most significant scene, Nicole kisses Rory for the first time and then reminds him before he was going to marry Amy, she tells him, *"I loved you first before you fell for Amy"* and then leaves him all alone. So this is what I feel about Amy and Rory's stupid relationship here. Rory should've not married Amy but married Nicole instead and Amy shouldn't have married Rory but married Drew instead. Don't you agree with all that I'm saying here???

What bothers me here is why didn't Amy ever ask the Doctor to take her to a hospital in the future (or use whatever methods) to help her fix the infertile issue? She could have if she needed such help and the Doctor wouldn't have hesitated to help her. She has the most resourceful friend in the universe and she never stopped to even think she could have asked for help from him.

I am too lazy to read all this 😅 but I’ll say the love between Amy and Rory is in its truest form and also much love to the doctor for bringing them back together (in a way) 😄

.........as loving as that sounds.... it will never justify how you treat someone else... Abuse from your parents, infertility, "struggle snuggle", prison time, war trauma, bullying, whatever your drama...(and I've been through a lot 😑).... it does not justify how you treat those that you (truly) love... Yes there may be a difference. But after all they had been through, him waiting literally 2000 years for her for them to be together. She broke up with him over not being able to have a kid. And then acted pretty righteous about it. If you're in love you make the best of your circumstances together. It just felt like an odd and manufactured story line to me. Before this episode you had no hints of problems between the two of them, and no hint that she couldn't have other kids. It just all showed up in this episode after they'd had an epic love story for the previous whole season basically.

And furthermore, maybe she should have, oh I don't know, _explained that to him_!?

There's a story that I'm making and it's a midquel spin-off that tells the story of a girl named *Nicole Sheridan* who was an old classmate and friend of Rory's who both attended the same class and were both the same age. And for all her life, Nicole had feelings, very *STRONG* feelings for Rory when she was young and _still did_ as an adult. Basically saying, Rory was *Nicole's* lifetime crush. *She* loved Rory, but Rory however had no love for *her* back and that he only saw *her* as a friend. As for what happened at Demon's run, I always took that like to mean that Amy couldn't emotionally handle having another kid, but it could also mean that for some reason she can no longer have kids at all from a physical standing.
