also there is this one line that Clara says to the 12th doctor which is one of my favourites cause though she knows she can't quiet flirt with the doctor anymore as she did with 11th doctor. SHE DID SAY, "Oh you got your own mood lighting but honestly, i thought the accent was enough." LIKE who would say that to their DAD?

I agree. I loved their relationship and then I saw people claiming that 11 and Clara and 12 and Clara were in love romantically. It’s just annoying, really, having people shoehorn romance in and cheapening a relationship. I’m still really mad at Moffat for thinking that every young straight woman has to be in love with a 2000 year old alien. It’s kind of insulting really, like they’re all just replaceable trophy wives and not, you know, companions. For Clara, 11, and 12, I think them being platonically in love is a lot more meaningful than the alternative. A lot of people seem to forget that platonic love is a thing. Sorry for going off, I’m just really sick of female characters in doctor who so often being turned into disposable love interests.

@@13jq5ll You might hate the idea 12 and clara have romantic feeling towards each other and prefer them to only be platonic, however they does have romantic feeling. It is subtle, not in the face like 10 and rose which i think is better. Also, this "romantic feeling" were confirmed by jenna and moffat. Jenna confirmed it during the orient mummy episode where she said i love you. It look like she said it to Danny but it is actually meant for 12. Moffat mention 12 has a crush on Clara but pretend he is not during an interview before s09 premier.

@@syahmioziar5290 Yeah, I know and that kinda bums me out. I know what the writers were going for and all, I just don't think it was necessary. Especially considering someone new falls in love with the doctor like every season. I've just gotten very sick of it so I block it out as best as I can.

@@13jq5ll going by companions(also not including classic since I didn't watch it,) not river and other girls only rose and Clara were "in love with the doctor" with Martha it was just a crush and with Amy I think she just wanted to sleep with the doctor not have a relationship. But I did think that the doctor and Clara had romantic tension, I only saw sort of sexual tension between 11 and Clara but with 12 I just saw romantic tension

Mostly because jenna is much younger than him so he doesn't see the romance brother characters

@@LOLimalexx IMO Peter saved himself and Jenna from trash talk that might have be done by some of the Dr Who community when the physical older Doctor would have shown his feelings for Clara. Jenna once told that there was a lot unsaid between Clara and the Doctor. I think that's right and when I remember the episode "Face the Raven" when they hugged each other and Clara said "Everything you are about to say, I already know. Don't do it now. We've already had enough bad timing." she hit the point. Peter is a clever boy :) and experienced actor. He knows how to save him and Jenna from awkward situations. ;)

@@leroyrs I know but i feel like the 10th doctor was also too old for rose (physically as well) she's like 19 and going off of Davids age at the time Hes like physically in his mid 30s. she was technically a teenager when they first met and I don't hear anyone hearing the age gap about them at least Clara was older she was kind of close to 30 when she left the show her brain was fully developed (something I've been hearing online these days about 25 is the age where your brain is fully developed or emotionally mature or grown up, it was something like that)

@@LOLimalexx You're probably right. Never watched it like that. Additionally the Doctor and Clara meet each other eye-to-eye. Sometimes it seems she was also his teacher (Doctor behave 😀.) I always loved the connection Peter and Jenna had and probably still have. In interviews they were fun to watch and it was obvious that they had a great chemistry.
