The Dalek Civil War seen in Remembrance of the Daleks proves that the Doctor is correct that once the Daleks do exterminate all life in the universe, they will just turn on each other over the smallest imperfection they have.
The way the Dalek gurgles and chokes is about the closes we'll ever get to a Dalek's crying. It knows the Doctor's right and can only wither in agony. It's tragic how it stops that the SECOND it gets an order.
*an emotional and thought provoking speech about the illogical and imperfect nature of the daleks, how they will only turn on themselves in the end* WE ARE THE DALEKS! WE LIKE TO DO WRONG!!!
It’s this Dalek learning the futility of his mission that made me see this drama as superior to eccelston episode. And until that realization it was my favorite of the ninth doctor episodes.
I feel like Big Finish took it upon themselves to give Colin Baker the best avenues of gripping storytelling to make up for the perception of how silly his stories on TV were. I wouldn't know if they were, though.
1:56 this is the problem with evil. It does not know what to do after it succeeds in Killing all the good guys. In lord of the rings if Saron got the one ring and killed all of the Hobbits and Elves and when there's nothing but orcs left What then. If in Star Wars Palpatine won in return of the Jedi and when there's nothing but his Empire left What then. That is why evil is not only offensive agents God but it is boring
You have no clue what you’re on about. Sauron didn’t want to _kill_ everyone, he wanted to _control_ everyone. That’s what the one ring was about, a tool of control. Maybe actually read and watch the media you critique.
