Following the release of #FarewellSarahJane, here's a message from Elisabeth Sladen's daughter Sadie Miller on the anniversary of her mother's passing, Sunday 19 April 2020. #DoctorWho #TheSarahJaneAdventures
Ryan Pollard Indeed. Sadie Miller looks so much like her mother Elisabeth Sladen did, she’s an amazing mother herself, Lis would be so proud of her, and I’ll bet Sadie and her children Theo and Valentine are reliving her memories as Sarah Jane Smith in Doctor Who Classic, and modern day and even in her own show The Sarah Jane Adventures more than any of us fans. Elisabeth will be so proud of her legacy as it goes on for all time.
I can only express my deepest sympathies for Sadie, Lis’s daughter and her grandkids, they are both so cute and Sadie is an amazing woman and mother. I’ll bet they’re reliving her memories as Sarah Jane Smith more than any of us. May she rest in peace but look down loving and proud of her legacy ❤️
0:09 I think Theo was the Series 5 villain we never saw haha! Elizabeth, a middle aged woman, was this little boy's hero. I looked up to Sarah more so than the Doctor. Elizabeth was a wonderful woman, and I hope you take care during this tough time (as if it wasn't tough enough already.) Lots of love 💙
40+ years ago Sarah Jane was the first companion I saw on Who. Her energy and attitude as much as Baker's antics drew me in to the point where I would be sure to watch it every Sat. when it came on in my area. Not many people could leave such a lasting impression to so many I would think.
I'm here July 2023 Remembering Elizabeth Sladen and Sarah Jane Smith. Just watched School Reunion (Tenth Doctor Adventure) and it made me want to go and watch The Sarah Jane Adventures
I don't know if you will see this, thank you for letting the special be made it was a touching tribute and my personal little head canon is that Jodie's doctor was in the back saying farewell too. Wishing you and your family the best during this time
Sadie does well playing her late mothers role and IMO there is no other actress I can see been as awesome as Sadie is and I think Chris Naylor makes a good Harry like Sadie makes a good Sarah in some ways I would have liked Sadies real life dad Brian Miller to be Harry in the big finish stories and Brian Miller is an awesome actor like his late wife Lis was and sadly I never met Lis
Thank you for your wonderful video. If your hair was about shoulder-length and you weren't wearing glasses, I would think you were the spitting image of your mum. She was amazing. When I saw her again in the episode with David Tennant, I realized that I missed seeing her in "Doctor Who" alot more than I expected to. And then she had her own series, "The Sarah Jane Adventures", which I haven't seen all of. You were so lucky to have such a great mum. ------------- My first doctor was #4 and my first companion was Sarah Jane Smith. I remember the episode (her last one with Tom Baker) when she asked to be returned to her neighborhood in England, and the Doctor dropped her off, assuring her she was in the right place and time. After he left in the TARDIS, she looked around and realized it wasn't the right place at all (possibly not even in the right city or even in the right year). Can't believe how many years it's been since then (over 40). Tempus fugit.
Sadie looks nothing like her mum. She has curly red hair and an oval shaped face. Lis Sladen didn't. My favourite Classic Who Doctor in my childhood in the 1970s was Jon Pertwee and Elisabeth Sladen was his last companion. Sarah Jane Smith was one of my two favourite companions (the other being Jo Grant played by Katy Manning), so I saw her long before those who have only been fans since the 4th Doctor (Tom Baker).
Only just seen this but it's so sweet ❤ the kids are so adorable too. Everytime I see a mention of Sarah Jane and Elisabeth, I remember just how much I miss her and wished I could have met her. But this was such a lovely message to us fans and we really appreciate you taking time out to do it for us ❤
@@gaynor1721 dude, for real? You don't need to correct every single person who spells Elisabeth the way most people spell it. They said something nice about her daughter, saying that it's untrue accomplishes nothing
WOW she's gorgeous..I hope her and her family guest star on the show..with the catch phrase " Bye Valentine" would be epic..even if v the Doctor says it.
@@gaynor1721 so I spelt her name wrong you don't need to be rude about it. Obviously I'm trying to help out. Me spelling the first name wrong doesn't take away the fact that they got the last name wrong
Cosmic 8's Starlight Caf8 You can change your z to an s - use the edit feature, and would the owner of this account PLEASE fix the spelling of ‘Salden’ in the title!

HOW could you publish this video and get the wonderful Elisabeth Sladen's name WRONG? Elisabeth Salden?! Absolute insult. Did you not even check it before you uploaded?
So weird story, ur Bois 21 (grammar isn't my strong suit, so bear with.). Anyway. I used to a shit ton of child acting. not like films. but the theatre. Westend like London Palladium others like shaw theatre.. all those big ones. and a bunch of small ones too. Peter Pan, Jack, and the Beanstalk, u name it. Anyway. I must've been 9 or ten at the time. Getting Bullied at school quite a bit. But after school id go and do this "Job" Perform in front of god knows how many people. I ended up doing quite a few different productions with Liz. Just coincidences, nothing more. But obv, these lasted for a while. I got to know here pretty well. I've never been good at displaying emotions as myself, as daft as that sounds. But she could always tell if I had a bad day. On those particular days, on lunch breaks. Rather than spending her free time doing something for her self. She used to take my out to costa or MacDonalds and just sit and talk with me. (gave me some signed dw action figures too lol) Can only really say it now. But it meant such a lot, I don't even think she knew. Fucking broke me when I heard the news So as I shout this into the endless void that is the internet. Know that I'm forever grateful. And while its part of life to have bad days and good days. Those bad days I had never quite turned out so bad at the end of the day.
