I felt this was a pretty decent episode, in terms of xmas episodes it's in the mid tier. In terms of what worked, Ncuti and Millie had great chemistry and Ncuti already seems like he's gonna be a great doctor, and the plot was quite decent. I love that the doctor and ruby have something that connects them, can't remember the last time we had something like that. However Ii felt the pacing of this episode was way to quick. Like the baby was taken and 5 minutes they had it back then all of a sudden Ruby was gone, 5 minutes she's back, nothing felt like it had time to breath. While not a fan of her acting, I'm intrigued as to who the old lady is, hopefully not the master. Also, not a fan at all of Mavity still being thing, i feel it's already a really old joke. But overall a promising start for Ncuti, bring on May!
