@@pinpingarouyeah I think they did that when she caught the violin so it looked like a super power telekinesis I'm guessing jinkx monsoon still slayed being maestro though didn't she
As much as I love this sequence, I wish Maestro used more instruments to fight the Doctor. Methinks it would’ve made their control over music even more clear while also making the Doctor and Ruby’s win that much more impressive.
If there was a nickel for each time I watched a doctor with time space abilities battle against a powerful foe in a literal music battle I would have 2 nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s so weird that it happened twice
God this episode was so good, I was terrified of the Beatles cameos and then it was just 50 minutes of the most incredible screen presence hamming it up and being delightfully creepy
Omg i love this episode i also love love jinkx monsoon and love her in this episode....buut is it just me or does anyone else think jinkx looks like the angry kid in this wig 😂😂😂😂😂
1:54 Okay, as a composer and musician, this moment drives me NUTS! Why is The Doctor's right arm moving so much? The highest note is A3, and it is continuously played beneath the riff.
No. I to think they can play piano. But this is a far more believable playing of the instrument than say Michael Landon in Little House on The Prairie.
I'm confused by this scene: firstly, it appears the doctor + ruby "won", but they're literally up against an entity that is the god of music. Secondly, maestro had already established that they were forced to follow the rules of "fair play" that Toymaker established, and the Doctor and Ruby won. But there was nothing after this, Maestro just immediately attempted to kill them. The whole thing was a pointless exercise.
I can’t be the only one who’s thinking of the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness battle. The Doctor and Strange really do have a lot in common, I’d love a crossover.
Disneys Once Upon A Time have done this Emma had a hidden song in her heart put there by her mother before she had to give her away as a baby & that protected her when she came up against her enemies & even kills her most dangerous foe with the hidden song. This is not a new concept ... Sorry
The greatest triumph is that, compared to the petulant Maestro (which is still a masculine title, btw) the music performed was by actual men who didn't need to bother with the stupid, politically-reductive requirement of semi obvious pronouns. It's a fucking joke, derived from idle chatter in University union "collectives" which pose the opposite ideal of what they stand for and I should know, having once tried to represent a toxic faction like that. Union?! Bringing ppl together?!? My arse!!! Split them apart and create as much chaos as politically possible is more like it, and for whose agenda?!?
@@shemdellashemygd29 no differing opinions allowed here then..? and Anon is correct, the writing is garbage. they haven`t got a clue. enjoy your new childrens show, as that is who this has been written for.
@@themagpie_1 Oh, so you're writing trash comments without any points, any arguments, anything valuable for others, you're just casually hating the show without giving us any reasons, but when someone comments your trash comment with another one, now you're instantly going to the defense mode and saying that you're allowed to have your opinion :D how arrogant...
