simple, the Theme for Dr. Who from 07 onward was, for many people to "dark/evil" sounding and it put them off. Sure it's a new take on the theme but changing it to be like that was effectively a nail in the coffin so to speak.
Seems like the 4th Doctor's look changes from 4:39 to 4:40, where he goes from 'Okay, what do I do now?' to 'Yeah, bro? Come at me and see what happens!' XD

Probably the most hypnotic theme ever...you can sleep to it and be inspired by it...and along comes the twangly 80's techno shit...and in the Resurrection 2005...Whammo!
RU-vid can't seem to make up their minds where this theme collection is concerned. They block, then unblock it, then block it again only to unblock it. It's an emotional rollercoaster.
I choose to believe the big finish 8 theme is for the alternate universe where we got his tv series. Damn Roseanne for stealing the ratings from the tv movie.
Everytime it goes to the outro theme section that part where the score lifts I can't help but get goosebumps. For all themes.. 22:15 is my favourite of those bits though
you can never get bored of watching Doctor Who episodes over and over again as i have every dvd ever released i first had them all on VHS until i replaced them all on dvd when that format was released
Always loved the 1996 version. Its different to all the others, as its the only one to use the middle part of the song as start for the start of a Doctor Who song. Very dramatic start to begin Doctor Who with. Also it started to move away from electric instruments to using a orchestra in its into. Which did influenced how the new series in 2005 sounded.
@@Hoodied in fact, you're wrong. Delaware doesn't start with the middle 8, the accidental broadcasts only had it start from the middle 8 but the song doesn't actually start at the middle 8, and the 7th Doctor's title theme doesn't start at the middle 8 either.
The Blue Coat is a nod to the Sixth Doctor Big Finish audios. As seen in in the flash animation story REAL TIME and on several early CD covers, Six wore an all blue variant of his outfit while travelling with companion Evelyn Smythe.
Could you update the video and put some of the pictures from the original video into this new one such as the 6th doctors blue outfit and the 8th doctor from the TV movie?
I like the transition from Five to Six during the Howell theme. Everything is aligned so perfectly, it looks like an actual regeneration! I don't know if this was intentional, but it still looks pretty cool!

Yay! I loved your other theme collection I always listened to it and memorized it all, it was the only thing I listened to, especially the Delaware theme I love the third doctor. It's so awesome to see a new modified one thank you for making these!
Captain Giratina That's because a company called UMPG erroneously slapped a copyright claim on several of my videos that made them inaccessible to IP's located within the US. RU-vid recently removed the claims so they are now once more accessible.
The Delaware Theme was too ambitious. It aimed at an innovative synthesised version, which Howell was able to accomplish eight years later, but instead created a gurgling nightmare which sounded like a computerised banjo.
Sadly the recon team messed with the theme on the DVDs and the Pat theme for say WEB OF FEAR had extra tempo and that strumming over and over but it's all gone now thanks to the uniformity of the recon team.
