Good overview, thanks! I love mine. No ordering hiccups, loved her episodes and dialogue. Wish she had the glasses instead, but several incarnations used weapons before and the one she got was articulated and not generic in look, so why not?
I think it was delayed due to the nature of the head sculpt being actual plastic of the head and not painted , the price would no doubt be due to the tooling involved for the head sculpt not the rest of the figure as the Donna noble figure was reused heavily on this figure to cut down costs , so some might say it seemed like a B&M figure with a new head sculpt .
It wasn’t heavily reused, yes the upper arms were reused, but the arms are completely new, the thighs the new tooling on the legs was donna, the cuff and boots was all new. the head was new, and they would’ve needed a tool for the gun, and the tardis was retooled.
Yeah, I completely get that, I'm running out of space as it is, so another tardis doesn't help. I'd just keep an eye out on Ebay. Am sure folk will sell her on her own!
Oh, AMEN! I was SO disgusted that they gave us ANOTHER standard TARDIS, plus it bothers me that they would give ANY version of The Doctor a GUN as an accessory. I shall pass on this one.
