it's so sureal seeing the second doctor talk to this freaking torchwood-like character

Damn this is like the early feeling of the Time Lord Victorious until Raven humbled him

When he said, "I meant what I said." he wasn't trying to defend himself. He actually meant it, as is revealed later in the series. Now that I have seen the stories after this one I now get what he was trying to convey. Everything he said was not just him lashing out he was being genuine. He recognizes the over confident timelord behavior. He could tell she was being dangerously cocky for someone with little to no experience in the field. Spoilers: and he was right.

Raven may think she can be better than the Doctor, but he can still be a scary man, especially around 10-12.

This actually has encouraged me to check out this series of audios for the Second Doctor. Raven just sounds so deliciously evil!

love how you depicted Raven :D with the 60s Time Lord robes but a more modern hairstyle. Her chemistry with the Doctor is probably my favourite thing about the 2nd Doctor audios so far, too bad they only release one a year tho :(

All that talk from Raven about plucking another of the Doctor's lives, making them do unspeakable things, and so forth...... one wonders if she's who personally recruited the one that would become the Valeyard....

I love this so much! (if only If I could get my hands on these 2nd doctor audios) the most interesting and most disturbing thing about Raven just from this scene alone, is the fact on How she seems to enjoy all of these anger and pain she's been inflicting on the Doctor, even just enjoying his negativity in general. it really shows how deeply Sinister and Nasty Raven is as a character. hell maybe for the right reasons in her mind, since this is in between the War Games and Spearhead From Space, and so this is time where the Time Lords were mostly at their peak, and were actually terrifying to see, plus legit reasoning but even so, it's nice to see this little chat between the Doctor and Raven, really shows how both of them are able to stand up to eachother, even after Raven backs the Doctor literally into a corner. with Him remarking after she leaves, "I meant what I said Raven. I meant what I said!" really amazing stuff right there! plus the Animation was great, interesting choice of giving Raven the classic timelord robes, and giving her a modern haircut and pale skin. really does add a bit of mysterious Vampire or Vampire like setting.

Is Raven potentially describing the Fugitive Doctor's origins? 🤔

The urge to deck Raven, but also admire how convincing she is. What a neat villian(?) I had no idea abt. Very cool animation!

TBH, anyone who knows what a green man is can probably take a punt at what the spoiler is here... Particularly given that they were already in abother audio called The Green Man 20ish years ago.
