The 7th Doctor and Dr. Smith's conversation about good and evil from "Master". "Is your color red the same as my color red?" The climax with the 6th Doctor and Frobisher in "The Holy Terror". Honestly, anything with Colin Baker from Big Finish is just gold, you can't go wrong! Ooooh... The 5th Doctor and Nyssa being interrogated about the coins by Sir Issac Newton in "Four Seasons"
ADORE this. The Charley and 8 era is one of my favorites so it’s a delight to see it get animation treatment the character designs suit so well, Charley looks lovely!
I love how the Doctor overexplaining is a result of this being an audio drama but it fits him perfectly to point out to the bad guy how badly their messing everything up :3 Love the models in this. All the characters are very expressive.
If the missing animations looked this good I'd be over the moon. If there were a series of full Big Finish animations based on this I'd probably go broke buying them. And honestly, even "just" seeing clips like this is enough to reignite my imagination when listening to these old audio stories, both nostalgic and a bit of new energy. Greatly appreciate the work done here.
@@AdrianParkinsonFilms Well, you do phenomenal work, you should be proud. You know what I'd love to see? The 8th Doctor and the MacQueen Master's big argument in "Master plan", from "Dark Eyes 3". Classic.
@@tonystark106422 Even though I did a scene from Dark Eyes 1, I haven't gotten around to listening to the other parts yet. I'll have to add it to the list.
you really are up there with into/across the spider-verse vibes with your animations@@AdrianParkinsonFilms I also love how your doing these with 8 who is so underrated in my opinon. Proud of you!!
This is nuts. Excellent work. Storm Warning is my favourite of all the Big Finish audio dramas. It just sounds so filmic and epic. I was lucky to write the 8th Doctor and Charley Pollard in one of the Big Finish anthology novels. Alan created a great character in Charley.
'Chimes of Midnight', but with character designs more exaggerated and spiky, like those in Tim Burton films. Love this though. Can't wait to see what you do next. 👏👏
This is absolutely incredible. Gosh we would all love it if they did something like this. McGanns top audios done as an animation would be a treat for one of the anniversaries. Keep up the brilliant work. This was gold!❤
It is nice to have Gareth Thomas Blake from Blake,s Seven in this story as Tamworth and it is a shame in billions of ways Gareth Thomas never did a classic Dr Who on tv.
I love it, man! I'm on my journey in the 8th Doctor era and Storm Warning is one of my favourites so far. It's a true delight to see this remarkable animation. Keep on this good work, ok? God bless you
This would be a better way to do Eighth Doctor stories rather than a spin-off infact if they pushed the animation further they could add abit of deepfake and add it to make it look more realistic it would take time but that would be cool.
Love this! Always wanted to see some of these audio scenes animated and your style is so fluid and expressive. I’d love to see the “Direct Action” scene from To The Death animated someday.
I love the Eighth Doctor, I Love Big Finish and their stories and this is simply beautiful. I don’t know a thing about animation, still I think it is more difficult to produce something where the Audio already exist, because you have to match the voices. This is well done and I dearly wish there would be the whole Story. So thank you, thank you for this beautiful piece of work.
Some things are more difficult since the timing for animation isn't always the same as the timing for animation. It's especially tricky with an action scene like this.
@@AdrianParkinsonFilms No! actually, there's someone called Josh Snares who animated the whole of Doctor Who: 'Out of Time', if you don't include the audio but have a countdown so people can sync the audio to the animation its completely allowed
@@TheRandomGuyTheFarNoGameCatyes, Josh Snares did this with the audio story Out of Time (I think he is also working on another full story as well with the 7th doctor). He simply posts the animation to RU-vid and creates a countdown to press play on the audio at the same time the countdown ends. Or if you are like me, I just take the audio from the digital version I own and edit together with the visuals in a video editor. It's better than not doing it at all
Honestly, I would rather see them animate the audio stories we already have as a TV-series than give him a new live-action miniseries ignoring all that. Like, this IS his run and arc, not additional supplemental filler like the other doctor's audios tend to be (apart from 6)
That's the biggest problem with jumping mediums. I feel like if it was to be done officially, they'd need to re-edit the audio to take out any redundant lines.
This is probably the second best animated Doctor Who clip I've ever seen. Second only to the anime Cyberman in Tokyo with the third Doctor. How long did it take you to make this labour of love?
