"Avengers end Game" on a "Blue Peter" budget. Sutekh being dragged through space/the time vortex/whatever reminded me of when Pierce Brosnan's James Bond did that kite-surfing a tidal wave thing in "Die another day." The story didn't make any sense and that random jump to random woman with dead baby and a metal spoon was very jarring. Hopefully the next run of Doctor Who episodes will focus on monsters of the week and less of these anticlimactic mystery box story arcs.
i noticed some bad script writing as well all a bit disjointed the bit were he tells ruby think harder was stupid should have been focus and imagine picture a solid tardis also the bit were he said to waman have you ever dreampt you was a abulance should have been first aid automated system al in all finished a bit flat with no new mysterys.
Its actually shocking to me i have seen a few people acting like this was somehow amazing. You have to really shut off your brain, like completely for that to be the case. Maybe my expectations of writing are too high.
Nah, I think we ask the bar minium and its doctor who it can be more and should be more. Its just RTD he does his thing, so everything feels predictable!
@@TheGingerGeekShow I think his worst writing trait is he writes something he wants to happen, rather than if it makes sense for the story/scene/or character to do such a thing.
I went into this show with an open mind. After 3 or 4 episodes, I lost interest. I don't buy the 15th doctor as THE DOCTOR. Just like the 13th. I don't feel they arr an over 2000 year old time lord who's been through a time war. They are just overly energetic and don't seem grounded.
