Yes the mannerism and choice of words was excellent, just the actor needs some make up for "face ageing" Then again it could have been worse, a woman or a ginger hahahaha Maybe they can do the Gen 2 doctors after the time war
@@georgemaragos2378 That's kind of you to say so - many thanks. I take your point about the lack of wrinkles - the hair is mine, though. Hartnell was a couple of months short of 57 when he filmed this iconic scene and I was a few months short of 54 at the time of filming. Knowing what we know about his life, I think it fair to say that poor Bill aged prematurely.
@@DoctorRedivivus Hi, thank you for your reply Looking at old family photos at Xmas i did notice people who lived during 1900-1950 ( 2 x world wars and depresion ) seem to age fast, i always put it down to actual hard work, my parents and grand parents were all farmer / labourer / factory workers, i was the first with tertiary qualification I enjoy your clips, well done Regards George
@@georgemaragos2378 Yes, indeed, and generally speaking, better healthcare, nutrition and exercise. Since I've been doing a couple of things for Johnny and regularly for Overton Audios, I've not been posting on my own channel for a while - I need to get back to doing so. 🙂
The TARDIS, looking at the Fifth: "You forgot your celery, AGAIN!? Do those allergy prevention methods mean nothing? The things I try to make you remember."
"Oh my goodness...it was bad enough when there was a dandy and a clown..." lol, what would he make of it now in 2024. lol. Well done. Bravo. Very well put together.
The fact that this was unscripted is crazy, there's just enough of a pause between people speaking that it feel scripted. Everything flows nicely. 10/10 well done chaps
Went into this with some trepidation, but came out laughing my head off, absolutely sublime dear sirs, some fantastic referencing, loved the joke about 2's screwdriver, love the chaotic energy and the Drs talking over each other with a sense of self superiority, that's exactly how it would be in my mind! Top job, thankyou for brightening my day :-) P.S. your costumes are all spot on the money, amazing job there in it's own right!
I’m currently pretty early into Classic Who, and I haven’t finished the Hartnell era. I look forward to coming back to this video when I’ve finished it, but from what little I know, the Hartnell’s Doctor impression is spot on. It’s just missing the eyebrow use and the tilting
That's very kind of you. I was a little bit in awe when we were filming as I'd not been with a working TARDIS console before or with my future selves. I think I do capture some of the Doctor's mannerisms in short sketches on my own channel - if you get a moment please do take a look 🙂
I'd say Michael Cox as the First Doctor was the best of the lot. The impression was nearly perfect. Even bears a closer resemblance to Hartnell than either David Bradley or Richard Hurndall.
What a great mini Episode love all the classic doctors they play such an important part in the who universe! the detail in this is flawless loved it super keep it up! Congrats on hitting the 60th-anniversary mark nice that you are doing something for the doctor who community! Ps, I have a question I am looking for the Colin baker star neck tie where did you get yours, please? If so could I have a link cheers? (:
Seventh: "Yesss . . . Well! You see, as soon as I rrealized that my . .erm . . previous incar.nation was going to visit, I decided to hide! Herrhmm! It's all a matter of timing!"
like when the each of DR who was made and it was cool too #4 and others had words vs each others now, seeing how the others seeing now, like it when Tom and others seeing a team now, boy i like it now, me i was be tom Barker , to 5 too,
had like the ways of playing the time lord was cool and funny too , when each had them own ego and some cool stuff too, 🤠🤓🧐🤢😎🥷🦸♂🦸🦸♀🦹🦹♂🦹♀🧙♂🧚♀🧚♂🧚🐉🐲
They might look like total dorks... (i feel bad for saying that, and yet i felt compelled to)... But you've got to admire how committed they are. I bet they had an absolute blast and probably a few laughing fits while putting this together. I can't remember the last time i had fun with real friends. Probably 25 years ago or more. 🙃🙂🙃
The whole thing was improvized; it was a bit of fun at the end of a long day of filming for something else. It might have been kinder to choose another description for us, rather than call us 'total dorks', which, if we stick to the dictionary definition, means 'a contemptible, socially inept person', which I don't think any of us are and I hope is not what you intended.
Dude. Back in the/late 80s, my dad was pissed when he heard me call my nephew that. He said it was a whale's penis. Imma have to look that up now. Cute bit. I'm going to watch it again now that I know it was improv.
The only edit what was done was putting 6 & 7 in it, the reason why is that those two could not attend in person on the day, so instead of not having them at all, for fun I added them in. Yes it may look pointless but they did play a big role in it, the 7th thought it would be nice to see all incarnations, so he got the Doctors together but some how it didn't work in his tardis they all went to the 1st Doctors Tardis, and the 6ths teleport somehow wasn't working but could still constantly hear the others chatting what was annoying him. Plus seven Doctor's are better than five. Hope this helps you understand our little clip of fun.
No there are 7. Watch it again. It starts with the the 7th then goes to the 1st then goes to the 6th then goes to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th. Which means all 7 are in the clip.
