This is the closest we'll get to an on-screen version of the Fourth and Fifth Doctors meeting each other, as opposed to the multi-doctor stories from Big Finish with Tom Baker and Peter Davison.
@@obsoletebutneat Actually, I had in my mind to do it as Hartnell, but since it was impromptu, at the end of a long day of filming for something else, I lapsed into Hurndall. It seems to sound OK. 🙂
The legend Scot as the 3rd got to love the man for is incredible 3rd Doctor cosplay. With that you all done so flipping well gave goosebumps just seeing this ❤ absolutely fantastic work. 😊😊
That's kind of you - it took a while to put it together. Sadly, the coat's not quite right. However, I work on the premise that since they put Hartnell in a different coat for The Three Doctors than he'd worn during his original run and Hurndall in something else for The Five Doctors, I can pretend that my coat is a variant 🙂
@@DoctorRedivivus You're very welcome. Especially as a goal of mine is to make a variety of TARDIS outfits that look less... Halloween costume style, to say the least. One for each Doctor. Hoping that maybe everyone can be happy for once. (Like that will truly be the outcome, but it is on my bucket list)
You know the Doctor didn’t start hacing a distinct look until he pilfered the Third clothing. The Second was dressing younger than the First but in the same style.
I think your 4th Doctor could have said a bit more than "Goodbye Me" at the end. No doubt Tom Baker would have insisted on some kind of ramble mumble before finally setting off.
This was just something we decided to do on the spur of the moment at the end of a busy day of filming, and so Alan didn't have time to think up some suitably 4th Doctor things to say. The rest of us simply relied on what we could remember from the original broadcast. 🙂
