Really love the James Bond vibes. Especially since to me, it felt like a Graham Williams 4th Doctor Story starring a new Doctor with Third Doctor vibes.
Someone, possibly Gold himself, took the time to synchronize The Doctor jumping over the rooftops with that descending trill perfectly. Like it was meant to be.
@@Deinobiwith the 4th wall breaking, especially in Devil’s Chord, perhaps we have to consider that it was the Doctor choosing to jump in time to the “non-diagetic” music because he can hear it :)
Saying as a fan of doctor who since 2008, I genuinely think 15's theme is one of the best scores Murray has done for the show. I hope it doesn't get overplayed like 11 and 12's were but hearing 1:22 just easily solidified it as one of the best.
It is sad that you completely gloss over 0:21 That trumpet motif of his theme is just amazing, and there are many variants of it, like when he is pulling down the ship.
@@Chris-uu9me Oh I do mean the entire score, 1:22 just struck out to me, like the variant of 11's theme in day of the doctor where he's hanging onto the tardis, it's just one of those "pull the camera back, turn the music up" moments that I love
Murray Gold must never leave again. It's extraordinary how much he adds to every scene with his scores, and how utterly hollow the Chibnall era felt without it.
"What the hell are you doing!?" "They? That's they got!" "Why did you do that for!? Who sees a ladder and hops on? A ladder in the sky and you thought yeah i'll give that a go Babes!"
@@pheonix8167 Oh, by Rassilon, Disney does *not* own Doctor Who, they just hosting on their platform internationally, it's not that hard to understand!
