Doctor Who Unreleased Music: The Skasis Paradigm (School Reunion)

Here's the theme used for the Skasis Paradigm/the Krillitanes in the Series Two episode School Reunion. This is one of my personal favourites, and I've no idea why it has never seen an official release - though no other 'sampled'/non-orchestral tracks have had a proper release either, so that's probably something to do with it.
Music by Murray Gold.

I have always wondered why tracks are left unreleased. Surely it's more effort to purposely leave things out than just include everything, and this is one of the best tracks in all of Doctor Who - let alone Series 2.

Think Murray gold didn’t think people would want a soundtrack release so discarded the recordings but some were saved in a file which did get released

Ah yes I had a teacher that was suspicious. I was convinced he was either a slitheen or a krilataine. Eventually i worked it out when one day there was this human sized bat flying round the school at night 🤣🤣

yes actually... funny story Our music 'lab' as our tutor's called it, had a bat problem, and there WAS a teacher, strict and punishing who worked in the music lab of our tutor block, wore all black. i won't speak her name. but you get the drift

I had an ICT teacher that I was convinced was a siltheen. Anyways, turns out it was much worse then that. He’s in prison now, and will probably and hopefully, die there.

The skasis paradigm... a proper soundtrack... THAT NEVER BLOODY MADE IT TO THE OFFICIAL SOUNDTRACKS. why did they leave the best, and I quote, better than doomsday ,sountrack? ☆♡its awesome though. Thx for uploading it♡☆

School Reunion became my favorite episode ever the first time i watched it, the story intrigued me and it took itself serious enough to feel intense and the theme chilled me to the core, It would probably be my favorite episode if only for the theme, its a flawless soundtrack in my eyes.

It seems strange to me that this track was never officially released and now seems to be lost considering it was the actual theme of the main idea of the whole episode.

@@godhathirumalaianandanpill3140 yeah I still think this one slaps but I've since come round on all the 6-9 soundtracks, they have some great stuff on there. Well, mainly 7-9, still not big on season 6 in general sorry
