Documented Bigfoot sighting 

This was the very story that got me into Bigfoot in the first place. Never gets old, even after all these years.

To be fair, how many bear skeletons or bodies do you see laying around in mountains/forests?

I am also a human being with common sense just like you. I am also an out doors man and I hunt, so I am out there in the field. If someone would have told me there were bigfoot in ohio b4 this happened to me I would have laughed. I still do not say I had a bigfoot experience because I didnt SEE what was screaming at me, breaking large tree limbs, and stunk like shitty wet dog since it was still dark. But I have a hard time thinking what else it could have been. I know the animals here.

Why is it so hard for most people to beleive that bigfoot EXISTS?

We don't have wolves were I live, but I was walking through the woods and found a deer that was just killed. Everything was intact. Except for its feet. The hooves were gone, and you could see the leg bones, they were not snapped, they looked like they were wrung off. Twisted with barely any cracks in the bone. Like what ever did it did it with ease. It had blood all over its back, but there was no wound anywhere but the feet, which did not even look like they bled that much. Weird.

To quote a line from a movie: " Have you ever seen a baby pigeon? No you have not. But they have to exist right?" What, is everybody out there from Missouri?

This rings true to me, particularly because others have described the nauseating smell. One explorer in Tibet, I think, coined the name, "abominable-smelling snowman," later shortened to abominable snowman.

It's either that guy is telling the truth or that's some damn good acting. I think he's telling the truth no one tells lies that good.

There has never been a time in mans history when there has not been at least one other hominid species living at the same time as us ,we still have the great apes but something closer to us would have to be rare and super clever ...I do believe this mans story and many others ,if something did not exist there would be no sighting reports what would be the point .

There has been a new sighting in SE Idaho today. A few college student were camping and saw one looking down at them from a ridge. The bigfoot show from animal planet is going to stop by in June.

one non blurry picture would settle the debate. everyone has a camera on them. credulity.

A couple things to consider re: cameras & bigfoot . . . 1. Many people don't carry cameras 2. If you have a camera, many supposed sightings happen too fast to get it out, turn it on, get it aimed and focused, etc. 3. Even if you plan to use the camera, many times fear/adrenaline puts you in fight or flight mode (usually flight!) and you just don't think to use the camera. I'm not passing judgment. Just saying its probably harder to get good pictures than most people realize.

Not to mention the Native American legends of them that are present in all tribes. You wait for a body, I already believe.

Our 3 sightings in Connecticut, 2 of which were right in our kitchen window and the 3rd by campfire light which literally scared the daylights out of our friend. When the sightings occurred at our home in Connecticut, my Father thinking it was a neighborhood prank had a hose at the ready to spray the pranksters, but it turned out to be the real deal. After this he bought a rifle for the house and kept it and a box of ammo by the kitchen door that Summer. He was a 82nd Airborne Paratrooper and was already a combat veteran, so he had learned how to be ready for surprises.

Everything you na-sayers makes perfect sense! Nothing like this could ever be real, I thought the same thing all my life. Even after my experiance I still have problems wrapping my mind around it.

The way he speaks seems credible. He speaks quickly, not carefully like someone who is concerned about having to have details of a fabrication line up with other parts of the falsehood he is telling.

Honestly if other animals are freaking out in the woods, u know it's not good.

I'm a believer. I think he was telling the truth. Who would make up a story like that? I believe in all mystical creatures like bigfoot, mermaids and pirates. They are all out there somewhere.

It IS in fact a large, blurry, pixilated, terrestrial biped that shakes a lot and usually travels from left to right. It does travel right to left on occasion but most of the time it will be seen traveling left to right at a great distance

You know you have frequent activity when your horses become accustomed to the creatures' presence and even give them a greeting nicker. My dogs on the other hand try to chew their way into the house still. My dogs fear no men and have treed more than a few. So what do scary dogs fear, and horses greet after 10 years?

No photographic evidence? the Patterson-gimlin film has yet to be debunked, sure looks like the real McCoy to me. especially with the enhancement and close up which shows a onhuman gait and body proportions, rippling muscles, which cannot be seen by a guy in a suit.

Something tells me there's a whole species of bigfoot. Not just one and only one.

Wonder if there was ash on the ground from the eruption of Mt St Helen's just less than 4 months prior to his sighting.

I totally believe Bigfoot exists, and love the magic in their mystery. I hope no one ever kills or catches one. Do not use your arrogance to kill these creatures. Let them live. Watch, photograph, but stay back and watch.

@mvpleet People haven't put any effort into finding Bigfoot bones in likely places so don't wonder why. And also the likely hood of finding an animals bones that is extremely rare in the first place would be a needle in a hay stack. On top of that the bones have to be in the right environment to fossilize or be found before they are scattered and eaten by other mass or dissolve into the biomass.

@fishunt83 I couldn't agree with you more. Never a hair sample to be conclusively tested.. Never a pile of excrement... Never a dead bigfoot to sample... Hell, not even a single bone..? You know, the verifiable stuff.

Consider this: I have seen coyotes behind my house. I have heard them. I have seen their tracks. I have seen their kills. My dogs have smelled them. The habitat is perfect for them. So . . . do coyotes exist behind my house? Most people would accept my claim. I ask this because bigfoot researchers have satisfied all of the above claims, and then some. They also have casts of tracks, hair samples, sound recordings, alleged photos/videos, 1000s of witnesses across 100s of years, etc.

Im a outdoorman myself. I have a cabin in the swedish north. But why arent there any pics or vids of bigfoot when its tons of them of animals that are almost extinct? Last thing, i hope you are right. I would love if sasquatchs wandering in the north american woods. Sry for my bad eng.

I ran into one for the first time last year in the summer. Accidentally snuck up on it playing with a stump. Thought it was a bear until 20 sec later it realized I was there and it stood up it was no bear but a man with long black hair. There would be no reason for a man to be wearing an Ape suit in the middle of coquahalla mountain range. Highway through hell was films in this location. What amazing mountains look it up.

Most people commenting have probably never been within 500 miles of a swamp state but you know all about the lifeforms that live there. I seen one of these things near biloxi mississippi, it was at least 8 feet tall and covered 20 feet of distance in two steps while running from my car back into the marsh.

Evidence is a general term & it's meaning always depends on the context of the situation. "Testimony" certainly can be evidence, in a legal or scientific context. But just because it's evidence doesn't mean it's conclusive evidence or that it's evidence that's given very much weight. I believe in this video, the testimony of visual sighting is evidence - visual evidence provided by an eyewitness. The credibility of the witness will determine how much weight the evidence is given.

Some user here posted a reply to an earlier comment by me. I think he went back and removed it. I will not say who posted it, but I will post the answer (I got it in my email which is how I know). He said, "In a court of law, eyewitness testimony puts people in the electric chair, so how can you say it's not evidence? ". The answer is quite simple. Testimony is testimony. It isn't evidence. Evidence can put people in the slammer too. They both can. But testimony is still not evidence.

The word "evidence" is used to imply that something is probably true. It is the wrong word to use, even if it is the accepted word for the situation. Credibility of a witness only means "can he lie well?" when you come right down to it.
