Wow. Thank you so much for this Christina. I just left the organization a little less than a month ago. It's been a really emotional time for me but I'm glad i know the truth now.. I've woken my mother up maybe about 70%.. at first she didn't want to hear ANYTHING I researched but she's beginning to open her eyes... my boyfriend is still inside :( i hope he will too wake up from this nightmare soon..

Russell predicted God's War Of Armageddon in 1914, in which he said that all nations would be destroyed by God's hand by the end of 1914.

I always knew that the Jehovah's witnesses founder an Governing Body theological doctrines are not biblical. What sad are those who get into the Jehovah's Witnesses publication Corporation/Organization. I believe that most of the Jehovah's Witnesses congregational followers or members are genuinely seeking God. That's really sad. We need to do our own research first & foremost. God loves You.

Excellent work Christina! I left the Jehovah's Witnesses last year and feel really thankful to Jesus and many exjws like yourself for helping us wake up. Now I feel obligated to wake up my friends and family. My parents are still in the organization, but my Mom doesn't attend meetings due to her sickness. Since my mom has been not attending any meetings, she has been waking up to the hypocrisy. I believe my Mom is 75% awake because she has been using her critical thinking. So I tell her don't ignore your intuition and don't allow them to control you because you're a college grad and they teach you how to think for yourself. If you know something is wrong with their teachings and the numbers of attendees are decreasing, you should know this is not the truth. Jesus mentioned you will know who are the true Christians if they have love among themselves and by the fruits they produce. Are they increasing in size or decreasing? This is a red flag if you see the numbers going down. Don't ignore those facts people. You're intuition is stronger than you think because Christ Jesus is trying to tell you something. This is all true. Good reaserch . Honest hearted people can do reaserch and find out for themselfs. I do have a question for all jw. Why does you bible have the name of devil in capital letters. Isn't that odd. GOd is in capital so is Jesus. But why the devil. Check you bible. Food for thought.

The WT doesnt say worship Jesus but do obeisance toward him. The KIT 1969 ed. pg 965 Heb <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="66">1:6</a> says "And let all God's angels worship him." The him refers to Jesus.

An absolute aim/goal for everyone in life, should be in the pursuit of truth. This should seem to be elementary. But, it's not. Ones desires of the heart (emotions) color what is brandishing as being true. The Bible shows its Divine origins., on this matter when (many scriptures) it says make judgements based on separate and independent witnesses ( " two or more " ) . We know that the Governing Body, will never encourage their followers to seek the truth. That is why Prov. <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="258">4:18</a> is misinterpreted and the getting rid of their old books and magazines. By getting rid of their old(?) material, you can't investigate what they believe and to hold them accountable, THAT'S WHY! William Miller and Charles Taze Russell , both created a 'dark pit' that many have struggled to escape. But, God is in the business of rescuing those in need and wanting to be free and saved. Jesus Christ is LORD !

It is so very important that followers of the Watchtower do so with "open eyes"; they need to know their organization's true history, (which can be gleaned from their own "old light" literature which was once "THE Truth," "Truth" which was to be believed without question at the time), and it is so vital that members not be simply "dependent-thinking," robotic members who blindly follow and obey as if they do not have the ability to 'examine the scriptures as to whether these things are so,' (Acts <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="1031">17:11</a>), not caring enough to "make sure of all things," (1 Thessalonians <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="321">5:21</a>), not 'having their perceptive powers trained to distinguish both right and wrong,' (Hebrews <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="314">5:14</a>), or 'becoming a man,' an adult who takes full responsibility for their choices and actions as the apostle Paul alluded to in 1 Corinthians <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="791">13:11</a>.

I discovered my 1986 NIV that I had obtained in 1987 while attending Faith West Academy, lol, with Ted Cruz, was indeed missing Acts <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="517">8:37</a>, because as you have pointed out the JW have an issue with Jesus Christ, when ever you address the topic of the missing scriptures, they lie, and tell they did not believe these scriptures "belonged", or they blame it on some other translation issue, the fact is, they do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Acts <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="517">8:37</a> "Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.” I was in distress when I realized I could not count on my Bible as the absolute truth, because of the missing verses, I did a search on Google to find "the most popular Bible in the World", what came up was the "New World Translation of the Scriptures", but it's not called a Bible, just a "translation".. Then I did another search, "The most trust Bible among Christians", 3 Bibles came up, 1) KJV, 2) NKJV, and I don't remember the 3rd. My sister bought me a NKJV with HUGE letters, and I won't read anything else but NKJV. I want to know Hebrew, because I believe it was the 1st language, and the language God spoke everything into Creation with. Some people say Greek, but I choose not to accept that, because of Greek pagan Gods, I've lost respect for anything Greek, and I acknowledge only the Hebrew, as each character of the language is formed by other symbols within the Aleph Bet. Mark S. Golub was teaching me Hebrew, the he stopped making video's, he was the best teacher... I don't know where he truly stands with God, that's between him, and God, but he was a great teacher, his method of teaching used non-words to teach us each symbol, dagesh, Sh'vah's, Silent Sh'vah's, Kamatz, Patach's, etc... There is no sinner's prayer per se, only when a person on their own calls out to the Lord from their convictions from hearing of the Lord Jesus and salvation, etc. The gospel Paul gives in 1 Corinthians <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="903">15:3</a> says Jesus died for our sins according to the Scriptures and was buried and was raised on the third day according to the scriptures. Paul says faith comes from hearing the message about Christ Jesus in Romans <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="617">10:17</a>. His epistles teach that the gospel is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes, etc. He shows in Galatians <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="182">3:2</a> that the BEING REGENERATED (born again) which is what happens when one is saved, happens when one hears the message about Christ Jesus (the gospel)with faith (belief) not by observing works of the law. In Ephesians <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="73">1:13</a> Paul is again stating that the person having heard the "word of the truth, the gospel of your salvation, in whom also having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise..." In Acts 10 Peter gives the gospel of God about Jesus the ANOINTED ONE (XPISTOS meaning anointed in English- transliterated as CHRIST from Greek) and the ones listening believe because while Peter is speaking the message about Jesus they are born again- regenerated (receive the Holy Spirit as Paul teaches) and do not say the so- called sinner's prayer. The Philippian jailer in Acts 16 asks what he must do to be saved and he is NOT LED IN THE SO CALLED SINNER'S PRAYER, he is DIRECTED TO "BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS and you WILL BE SAVED..." In John 14 Jesus is directing his own, close, disciples who are about to learn from the Spirit and do wonderous things after The death, burial and resurrection of Christ Jesus and they will pray to him. Remember, until Jesus dies they are Jews under the COVENANT of laws of Moses for their righteousness- justification per Deuteronomy <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="385">6:25</a> until faith comes according to Paul in Galatians 3. The Gospels are ACCOUNTS OF CHRIST SPECIFICALLY ADDRESSING ISRAEL the earthly chosen nation. The EPISTLES ADDRESSED TO THE BODY OF CHRIST SPECIFICALLY are under an entirely different covenant and all that ramifies thereafter, a heavenly people, not earthly; citizenship in heaven, seated in the heavenlies with Christ Eph <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="126">2:6</a>, etc. As members of the body of Christ Jesus we are to "but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God..." Colossians <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="197">3:17</a> directs believers to- "...do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." We are God's children and are to ask according to his will (1John <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="314">5:14</a>) by prayer and supplication or request, in the name of the Lord Jesus in whom we are immersed (the meaning of the transliterated from Greek Word- baptize, which was first transliterated to Latin). The point is that one hears the gospel of their salvation with faith and is saved!, justified (received GOD'S righteousness), receives the Holy Spirit (is born again of the heavenly Adam- regenerated) and are heavenly waiting on our bodies to be adopted (changed for inheriting the kingdom we are already in spiritually, etc. see 1 Cor.<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="945">15:45</a>-53; Col.<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="73">1:13</a>; Ro. <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="503">8:23</a>. Give the gospel to the unsaved as Paul and Peter did and IF they hear it WITH faith, they ARE SAVED. If you want to REQUEST something from your Father in heaven, do it in Jesus' name, always giving thanks to God the Father through him. May God bless your work! This is a reply to the comment posted by _Joye Det Brenner_ - for some reason YT wont let me directly reply to her comment. Anyway she has confused The Watchtower's interpretation of the "wild beast that ascends out of the abyss" with "the image of the wild beast". The two are very different. The Watchtower believes it was the political system (i.e. "wild beast out of the abyss") that kills the Two Witnesses, not the League of Nations. So her assumption that because the League of Nations didn't exist until 1920 they couldn't have 'killed' the Two Witnesses in 1918, is easily refuted. The Watchtower believes the "image of the wild beast" represents the League Of Nations and later re-emerges in a different form, that being of a "scarlet colored wild beast" as the United Nations.

I watch the show 12 years in slavery, such a heart wrenching true story. This got me comparing the so-called southern Christian with Joseph Smith. Back in the 1800’s It was the southern Christians that brought the Africans over and made them slaves, beat and whipped forced them to work hard, raped the women, the children from that where also put into slavery, they hanged them, such terrible brutality. And what real got me is when the slave owner would preach out of the Bible one minute and then be whipping them the next. Even after the war the so-call Christians kept them segregated all the way though to the 1980’s. (The move The Help demonstrated how the So Called Christians treated the AAM) The same Christians forced the Mormons out into the cold winter and burned their homes because the Mormons did not believe in slavery. Now comparing Joseph (as the world claims) all he did was write 4 books help establish a church have plural marriages just like the Old Testament Prophets did and in that time it wasn’t against the law. The Christians are the ones that say Joseph is the evil one. saWhat about the Mormons not giving the African Americans the priesthood? Interesting comparison. Good question. Its not because they were black it is because they came out of slavery. You see, you have to understand what the priesthood is. First of all it’s not going around in costly robes and having people bowing down and kissing their rings and paying large amounts of salaries. The priesthood is a gift from God. So none of our leaders get paid. Act 8: 18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, 19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. 20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. Also coming out of slavery and to offer free service would have been to great of a burden. Acts <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="928">15:28</a> For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;

Excellent! What most religions refuse to believe is that no one can change the truth or twist what is written in the Book of Life. Let the Bible explain itself. Why have so many stopped being like the Bereans? Jehovah’s Witnesses and other religious denominations are in disbelief and want to argue when the Spirit points to what the Bible and Christ himself taught that in His pre-existence, He was in fact the “Jehovah” (YHVH) of the Old Testament. Christ was the Lord (YHVH/Yahweh/Jehovah) God before He became a man as we read in the gospel of John for it is written: “In the beginning the Word [Christ] already existed; the Word was WITH God, and the Word WAS GOD. From the very beginning the Word was WITH God. Through HIM [Christ] God made all things; NOT ONE THING in ALL CREATION was made without HIM.” (John <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="61">1:1</a>-3) “Father! Give me glory in your presence now, the SAME GLORY I had WITH you BEFORE THE WORLD WAS MADE.” (John <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="1025">17:5</a>) Clearly written, Christ tells us had pre-existence as the Lord God before becoming a man and would be restored to his rightful place at the right hand of the Father. The Jehovah’s witnesses fail to realize they are actually praying to Christ [YHVH]. It sounds like a bad joke. Christ told us that he is the one who revealed God the Father. Get this, no one knew who God the Father was until Christ revealed Him! Like the Jehovah’s Witnesses, so many falsely believe that God the Father is the Yahweh/YHVH/Jehovah of the OT, but Christ, in His own words, clearly disproves this for it is written: Jesus said, "This DOES NOT mean that ANYONE HAS SEEN the Father; he [Christ] who is from God IS THE ONLY ONE who has seen the Father". (John <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="406">6:46</a>) “And the Father, who sent me, also testifies on my behalf. You study the Scriptures, because you think that in them you will find eternal life. And these very Scriptures SPEAK ABOUT ME! Yet you are not willing to come to me in order to have life. (John <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="337">5:37</a>-40) These are statements of fact made by Christ himself, so what about Exodus <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="1449">24:9</a>-11? In this verse it is written that the "God of Israel" was seen: “Moses, Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and seventy of the leaders of Israel went up the mountain and they SAW the GOD OF ISRAEL. Beneath HIS FEET was what looked like a pavement of sapphire, as blue as the sky. God did not harm these leading men of Israel; they SAW GOD, and then they ATE and Drank together.” (Ex. <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="1449">24:9</a>-11) Scriptures and Christ told us in statements of fact that no one has ever seen or heard the Father (John <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="78">1:18</a>, John <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="337">5:37</a>). So who did they see and hear in the OT? Jesus Christ! Which totally corroborates John <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="61">1:1</a>-3. Christ said that scripture cannot be broken (John <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="635">10:35</a>) and remains true to his word as always. Christ was God (the Son, the Word, the Logos/YHVH) of the OT. Jesus is the Word (LORD God) prior to becoming flesh (John <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="74">1:14</a>). In Exodus <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="194">3:14</a>, when Moses was at the burning bush, he asked God what his name was: “God SAID, “I AM WHO I AM. You must tell them: ‘The ONE who is called I AM has sent me to you.’ Tell the Israelites that I, the LORD, the God of their ancestors, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, have sent you to them. This is my name forever; this is what all future generations are to call me.” (Exodus <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="194">3:14</a>-15) Jesus tells us himself HE IS the LORD God (Yahweh/Jehovah), the I AM of the OT in the following verses for it is clearly written: “That is why I told you that you will die in your sins. And you will die in your sins if you do not believe that ‘I AM WHO I AM’.” (John <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="504">8:24</a>) “So he said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Man, you will know that ‘I AM WHO I AM’; then you will know that I do nothing on my own authority, but I say only what the Father has instructed me to say.” (John <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="508">8:28</a>) “I am telling you the truth,” Jesus replied. “Before Abraham was born, ‘I AM’.” (John <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="538">8:58</a>) “ I tell you this now before it happens, so that when it does happen, you will believe that ‘I AM WHO I AM.” (John <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="799">13:19</a>) And there it is by the very words of Christ! Who is the God of the OT? Jesus Christ! YHVH says the same thing in the OT for it is written: “I am the First and I am the Last” (Isa.<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="2646">44:6</a> NKJ) Who else is being referred to in the Bible truth? What is the beginning? Genesis. What is the end? Revelation. The whole book is about Christ and the message he proclaimed from his Father about the Kingdom to come. What most people don’t get is that Jesus was the God (Yahweh/Jehovah) before he became the man known as the Christ for it is written: “He ALWAYS HAD THE NATURE OF GOD, but he did not think that by force he should try to REMAIN EQUAL with God. Instead of this, of his own free will HE GAVE UP ALL HE HAD, and took the nature of a servant. He became like a human being and appeared in human likeness. He was humble and walked the PATH OF OBEDIENCE all the way to death- his death on the cross. For this reason God raised him to the highest place above and gave him the name that is greater than any other name. And so, in honor of the name of Jesus all beings in heaven, on earth, and in the world below will fall on their knees, and ALL WILL OPENLY PROCLAIM THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD [YHVH], to the glory of God the Father.” (Philipp. <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="126">2:6</a>-11) He gave up being God just to become a man so that we could be reconciled to our Father. Truly amazing! Christ lived a sinless life (he was the living, breathing 10 Commandments, love, the very character and nature of God, 1 John <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="303">5:3</a>) and died for the sins of the world in which man was continuously breaking the laws (sin, 1 John <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="184">3:4</a>) of the Kingdom. “Christ IS the visible likeness of the invisible God. He is the first-born Son, superior to all created things. For THORUGH HIM God created everything in heaven and on earth, the seen and the unseen things, including spiritual powers, lords, rulers, and authorities. God created the whole universe THROUGH HIM AND FOR HIM. Christ EXISTED BEFORE ALL THINGS, and in union with him all things have their proper place.” (Col. <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="75">1:15</a>-17) Taking it a step further without using modern religion at all, but the Hebrew language, using a Hebrew Pictograph with the word “Torah” it reads right to left: “On a cross is nailed the highest. Behold”. And in reverse: “Behold, the Highest is nailed to a cross”. Using the same Hebrew Pictograph for YHVH (the name of God), it reads right to left: “The hands behold, the nails behold”. Or from left to right: “Behold the nails, behold the hands”. Now does this name YHVH refer to the Father or to the Son. Clearly, the Son/the Messiah! The name, Jehovah, is an invented name as it did not appear until the 16th century as a mistranslation. What command was given in the holy scriptures? We are specifically told not to add or take away anything from the word of God (Deut. <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="242">4:2</a>, <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="752">12:32</a>, Rev. <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="1338">22:18</a>). The JW religion is based on a lie created by man beginning with it’s name as it isn’t even biblical. “And the truth will set you free” (John <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="512">8:32</a>) Glory be to God our Father and our YHVH and Savior Yeshua of Nazareth!

Charles T. Russel was into Egyptian symbology and Ancient Mystery School beliefs, because he was a Scottish Rite Freemason.

The symbol on the front of the Finished Mystery is the sign of the Egyptian God HORUS not RA.....but good information and close to right on target, I was raised as a JW and you have them down pretty well.

I just had the additional happy accident of finding that I had already purchased the KINDLE version of this book, unfortunately, I do tend to love buying fictional books, so it got lost in my kindle library with other books, so as I was thinking it would be good to buy this version, Amazon notified me that I already own it! So I can read NOW, not just the 26th when the physical copy comes...but am excited for that one because I might be able to help my family, to see it in the print format, not just on my tablet. Jesus's apostles also were expecting that the time of the end would be fulfilled in their time. They asked Jesus if he's going to restore kingdom then. However, we don't reject the apostles and their hope for the prophecies fortolold by Jesus to be fulfilled in their lives. When Jesus came to inspect the Christian congregation of the so called Christians as a messenger of the covenant mentioned in the book of Micha, he found a small group of Christians that broke away from the main stream Christianity and we're trying to find out the Bible truth by examining the scriptures without interpretation of the clergies of imitation Christians. So, these people had portion of the truth and the rest have been revealed to them by God's spirit. This dynamic changes and revelations are so rapid that Jehovah's Organization library is constantly being revised as the new understanding of the knowledge become available. This is scientific and any scientic would tell you that the world of science is changing constantly. When Jehovah's witnesses do research for their study purpose, they always look for the latest revision. Therefore, the understanding of the God's purpose is changing and as a matter of fact, some of the Daniel written prophecies are sealed until the end of this satanic system and will be revealed as soon as is clear to Jehovah's people. People will be in search for truth in the last days and like all works, in some people will fail and in other people will make progress. My objection is on kicking out many members of Bethel. Some served in Bethel for decades and over the night they found themselves to be out on the street. For me that is really bad. I know some woman who got cancer shortly after being kicked out from Bethel. She served in Bethel for almost 30 years.

In the bible it shows Jesus subservient to the Father, its shows Jesus praying to the Father, Jesus showing us how to pray to the Father, clearly. Christians or Christ followers have no problem with this at all, because we do not believe that Jesus and the Father are the same person, we believe they are the same GOD, the only GOD, Yahweh, big difference. As many versus there are showing Jesus praying and asking the Father, we see Jesus claiming to be GOD, others claiming him to be GOD and receiving prayer and worship from others and him not rebuking them. The main reason they, the religious tried to stone him and finally crucify him was because of Blasphemy, they said it themselves, clearly. So Christ followers are reading scripture honestly, we are not presuming Jesus is not GOD because he is not the Father, just as we not presuming him to be the exact same as the father, we just read scripture which shows he is indeed GOD, but at the same time a separate person from the Father and Holy Spirit. This is an IMPOSSIBLE scenario. Conclusion: the TWO WITNESSES could not have been killed by the "beast from the abyss" in 1918, for the "beast from the abyss" (the United Nations) was not in existence. The GOVERNING BODY is wrong - who is misguiding them? Is it God and his Holy Spirit? (((The same applies to the League of Nations. It was not in existence in "the middle of 1918". The League didn't come into existence until 1920. So, likewise, it could not have KILLED the TWO WITNESSES.))) THE 1260 DAYS: The "1260 days" (during which the TWO WITNESSES prophesied) is mentioned seven times in the Bible. Once again, there is a "timeline" problem here. This is Another Major Timeline Problem: The "1260 days" of the rule of the "beast from the abyss" (the United Nations) cannot take place during the FIRST WORLD WAR for at that time the United Nations was nonexistent. Not every member of the Society is a true Christian and not every true Christian is a member of the Society.

In even the ESV study Bible it shows that Men added the word "me" to make it seem as though Jesus was saying pray to me. Jw are correct here at least, The Father is the only one to pray to through Christ. The best way to combat theology you believe to be false is first get up, do and act like the Christians we claim to be. It's sad that if JW are so wrong why do they act better and represent themselves better than most other denominations? I don't believe in any denomination. I believe in Christ as my Lord and Savior but more importantly I believe in being a doer of the word. In todays society you can't tell the Christians from the sinners.
