Hands down one of the best instructionals I've seen. Even with the accent you're still much easier to understand and clearer in your delivery than most.
This video was very informative and I could clearly see what you were trying to show me. Much better than other people who make these instructional mechanic videos.
You can very simply and easily tell everyone which battery terminal to disconnect first to not cause any damage, no need for a completely separate video for that. It is pretty ridiculous
I got a stripped torx bolt on one of my cam phasers. FWD Chrysler 200. The one that’s stripped is in tight area. Do you think I can carefully wiggle the valve cover off with one cam phaser still in? I’m gonna try to extract tomorrow, but not sure if I can fit anything in.
I know that it is best to replace both gaskets, however my leak is only from the passenger (left) side near the firewall onto the exhaust. Is it technically possible to replace the left side without removing the throttle body and main intake covering the right side? Thank you.
Unfortunately, you are not showing the different style valve covers. There appear to be some plastic retainers that will not allow the valve cover gasket to be removed. I have removed all of the bolts, I have removed everything on the intake manifold, yet, there seems to be some sort of classic retainer that I am not seeing in your video that I believe is keeping me from removing the valve cover. This is a California style vehicle, you know how they screw everything up.
Never work on a vehicle with jewelry such as rings and a watch as you can cause yourself to be electrocuted. Obviously disconnecting the battery is almost mandatory
