Bro I guarantee you all the mfkas hating on your car are people who either have no car themselves or drive a 2009 v4 with transmission problems and 3 different engine swaps. Your vehicle is dope and good for you for getting something you liked and saved you money 💯🔥
Great video! I have a 2015 sxt and I love it. A lot of my reasons are the same as yours. It's comfortable, it's fun to drive, reliable, and gets great gas milage. I don't need 700 horsepower! I have no interest in going out racing. It's a beautiful, comfy, affordable car and no shit talker on the internet can take that away.
Dollar saved is a dollar earned. If your happy who gives a shit. I have a 1320 scat pack and after hearing what you pay makes me feel like an idiot. Your a smart man.
I supercharged my V6 Challenger. Pushing over 500+hp/380lb ft to with low insurance and kills most Scats and modern V8's out here. Lmao I enjoy seeing the haters become quiet once i dust they ass on the street. 🤣🤣🤣🤟🏾
Haters today are spoiled and clueless to the past. That V6 actually puts out more net horsepower than all but the big block V8 Challengers from the 1970 first generation model during the muscle car era, while getting twice the gas mileage. The same can be said for the V6 Camaro & Ecoboost Mustangs that have their share of undeserved hate. You chose wisely and should have no regrets. I bet it would be hilarious to know what most of the haters actually drive if they are even old enough to have a license.
I bought my 2020 SXT Smoke Grey last June and I love it. It converted me from being a Mustang lover to becoming a Mopar addict! Did the muffler delete also, averaging 34mpg on the hwy. every week.
@AleksMoran you made the right decision, Brother. You got the look you wanted in a car, you bought a home, you’re good. And, if you actually NEED more power, you can just add on and still come out cheaper. Eff these hater clowns.
same here, i really wanted a 6spd and got a last call scat. I've pondered if I shouldn't have went with the V6 and awd then modified it. I really think an awd with the 5.7 would have been a sweet spot.
For the people that think these cars can’t make power your very wrong the 3.6 penastar is a great bargain and great build to work on and do things with beautiful challenger man
I had a ram 1500 with the 6 cylinder and it takes a beating. It was a company vehicle and i abuse company vehicles. If it's good in the ram then i know it's good in the challenger
You did the right thing brother. I had a 2014 100yr anniversary edition charger had everything in it i would comments all the time how nice the was and it had a V6 i took that car everywhere and always got good comments. But I sold it for a scat pack charger, i still wish i had keeped that car. 😫
Very nice bro! Very smart man Well I love your car is very beautiful and very special 50 anniversary And for that reason I will follow you I would like your videos good luck let's spread a lot of men
I've had 2 5.7 manual Challengers and I'm on my 2nd 19 V6 GT RWD. Personally, I prefer the 3.6 to the 5.7. The V6 cars are over 300 pounds lighter, so the balance is much better. The power isn't much different really, especially in any type of normal driving. Both my GT's have/had the hi-perf suspension and 4-piston Brembo brakes, so they handle and stop GREAT. Nothing wrong at all with the Pentastar.
Good move by getting your house first , so many people out there getting scats & cats and still living with they momma, or girl friend smh 🤦🏾♂️ ! Much respect from Big Diesel from Detroit !💪🏾💯MOPAR
One of the craziest things I've seen in the car world... is a Scat Pack parked in an apartment complex... lol... wild, right? Welcome to the V6 fam. I've had mine PARKED IN MY GARAGE for 2 years and I still love it like I just got it.
The thing that people don’t realize is that social media has pitted people against each other with these horsepower wars. Challengers and Chargers from the 60s and 70s had at minimum a Slant Six, then all the V8 configurations afterwards. I seen these same horsepower wars with the Camry when it was redesigned for 2018, V6 guys hating on the 4 cylinder guys. A Mopar with a 6 cylinder is a Mopar all the same.
I own a 2012 charger RT and I would agree you do spend a lot more on gas but if your gonna buy a v8 I would buy it paid off so that way it’s one less payment to worry about. Insurance can vary depending where you live but I pay 100 something for basic coverage on insurance. It’s an older car so if something were to happen I can just fix or buy the body panels myself
I had a 2020 challenger v6. I put a chip in it. Got it to 370 hp and 365 torque. It was snappy. I then traded it up to a 2023 r/t shaker. I loved both cars and be proud of what you have. It is a great car. Have fun with it
My total respect go to you brotha, your car is nice ! I got a 2011 R/T charger and a challenger sxt modded up with the bells and whistles pedal box cold air intake 80mm throttle body and a couple xtras! I love my challenger and my r/T but I find myself having more fun in the challenger! I own my home and thought about getting a cat , but I rather put my money in my house ! My boy ran my R/T against me in my challenger and my V6 was neck neck on that ass ! So don’t think that v6 can’t go because it can if u put some mods on it!
Bro don't worry about what these haters say they riding in a car they don't wanna be in so when they see someone with a nice car they hate. That challenger is fire bro a real car person looks at a car for what it is and I can tell you that Mf CLEAN with the widebody
I got the baby of all of them...2023 SXT. It drives fine and get me from A to B. It's all black but no spoiler and plain Jane. I don't mind. I might get an RT this summer .. Still debating..
I had a 2011 in toxic orange rallye edition. I got the v6 because loaded it was 23k new. The cheapest hemi at the time was 31k. I was driving 25k mikes a year at the time so gas and insurance was a factor. It had a tree fall on it in a storm and totaled it. I replaced it with a 2012 charger rt awd. The hemi is so much faster and sounds better… however the v6 with 5 speed auto stick was a blast to drive. “Shifting” around bends an what not was more fun than the hemi. The hemi once you get in second your going so fast its not as engaging. Also took the challenger on 2 1000 mile road trips with 3 adults with no problem. It got 33+ mpg. Both have their pros and cons, but by no means is the v6 bad. Just slow.
The 3.6 has plenty of power already. How often are you able to use ten billion horsepower on every day driving? Plus you’ll be doing 30+ mpg on the highway. This car is a good buy.
I just got (a month ago) a last call 2023 AWD sxt in destroyer grey and 1 i LOVE my car 2 i hate how much grief i get for having a v6 3 i LOOOOOVE my car 😊
Bro, forget about what people said, you don’t need to explain yourself. Like you said they’re never going to be pleased unless they see you in your worst. I have a v-6 Mustang right now and been thinking of getting a Challenger and watching your video convinced me of getting the v-6. The v-8’s are awesome machines but if I can’t afford it Im fine with that. Pleasing people is not even a thought for me.
Yes. I'd recommend v6 because i drove v6 and v8 on the ram1500. If the ram is anything like the challenger then the v8 can overheat faster and spending more on gas. The ram was a company vehicle so i would abuse them and they both did good. Just ignore what people say about you being a pussy for driving a v6.
The hate I get personally is when people say that the sxt isn’t a “muscle” car because it doesn’t have a V8 engine. People seem to forget that the start of “muscle” cars, many were 200hp-upper 300s. Hop inside an sxt challenger and an Elantra sel, punch both of them and tell me the sxt doesn’t feel like a “muscle” car. And the. I hear the argument that I’m comparing 2 different cars. Ok, by those standards, the on,y “true” muscle car feel is what? The 170 Demon?
Its amazing now how people are so opinionated on how others spend their money. The upside of these cars going away is all trend chasers will leave them behind for the next new thing. The challengers in any trim will be left for true enthusiasts. My Son is 22 and ordered a 23 sxt. He ordered it because he has an 01 mustang with a v8 and he wanted the looks. His insurance is cheap and gas mileage is good along with a cheap payment. I own a scat but his car is great! He can let his car sit through the winter months to preserve it which is a bonus. Everyone has different reasons for buying and different situations financially. Your making very smart financial decisions don’t listen to the guys with 1200$ payments that end up getting rid of the car after 6 months and some YT vids because they can’t afford it. And those who can afford it good for you…
Dig the car. I support your move to buy a house and be financially smart. Thinking no one's going to ever take your property away from you is something you should fortify yourself against, because that's exactly what they all were talking about when the world organizations met at Davos this year. The plan is to take everyone's property from them and put them in rentals that they control and our own government is intending to help them with that. If enough people take a stand now, we can probably avert the disaster. Problem is, some people don't think this is a real thing, despite these organizations publicly announcing that they're intending to do it, or they just believe it will never come to fruition. I don't have a crystal ball, so I wouldn't say for sure, but ... You may want to get together with family, your tightest homies, and your community at large and - READY YOURSELVES. No joke, look into it.
Nothing wrong with V6. They are excellent daily. I looked at a F8 Green Challenger V6 with the performance suspension package. Really nice. An RIPP offers a solid supercharger upgrade.
Yes my 2017 v6 has every mod except a supercharger etc! I have a Performance chip, digital throttle, cold intake, RIPP Coils & power brakes! So my baby GO's!! 💨
For a daily driver it is what it is, cost efficient, style efficient, it's a shame they didn't do a twin turbo option, especially with the AWD, for the serious "GT" enthusiasm
not EVERYONE want or needs a v8.why cant people get theat thru their thick heads.you buy what suits YOU.others can buy what THEY need.ALL THAT MATTERS.
Great for you man, that’s a beautiful muscle car. I recently purchased a 2019 sxt in sublime green and I absolutely love my car. I get good feedback from most people but there are people that feel that the v6 isn’t a worthwhile car but THEY ARE WAY WRONG, haters will hate. For everyday driving the v6 certainly has plenty of get up and go for me and congrats on your forever home. I purchased my house 18 months ago and it’s a great feeling to own your own home.
Looks like hellcat badges on the fenders. Car looks nice, and I have a penastar in my wife's durango, and it's been solid reliable with over 95000 miles. The only change I would make is to take fake badges off fenders.
They’re custom badges they’re not hellcat badges I have a v6 why would I put hellcat badges that makes no sense lol and I’m not taking my custom badges off, it’s what I like so they’re staying.
