Dodge CHALLENGER vs Ford MUSTANG - This is the one I buy and why 

I bought a 2010 Challenger R/T in B5 blue and I never got tired of looking at it. Perfect execution of muscle car styling that is also a good summer daily driver. Yea you can feel the weight, but it doesn't make it any less fun to drive

I personally think the original mustang was a sports car, just over time with the introduction of the Camaro and Challenger, that’s when the muscle car name emerged. Now I love the Challengers, just it’s starting to show age and I see them EVERYWHERE, same with mustangs but a lot of people custom them and I just always get giddy seeing a Mustang

Challengers are the sexiest of the 3. Dodge really knocked it out of the park with the design. Timeless classic look.

You can call a four-door sedan a Camaro or an SUV a Mustang but that doesn’t mean that they are those things. At this point they are just the badge stuck on a car

Had a 2007 GT and a 16 GT350. Miss the 350 so much but had too many issues to justify keeping it. Now own a ‘17 T/A 392 and love the old school feel and torque

Challenger is the one! Dodge stayed true to its roots and design and if it's still the same year-in year-out it's because they nailed it the first time.👍

Id probably pick the Mustang simply cuz it's smaller and lighter. I'm not a brand loyalist so idgaf who makes what car. They're both awesome but I like smooth sleek lines over a boxy beast. To each their own. Tbh wish the mustang used the ZF 8 - speed though.

I’m 5 challengers in would never consider a mustang not because I think they are bad cars. I just prefer challengers. I’ll take heavy fast and comfortable over fast and cramped all day.

Challenger! The Challenger is the absolute closed to it's roots, and is true to being a "muscle car," more than Ford or Chev. Judging from the Mustang Mach E being a crossover (advertised with chicken wings and chilled drinks in the frunk) and GM wanting to go in the similar direction. It will still be Mopar for the win with their teaser for their EV muscle with the return of the Fratzog logo and possible 67 Charger shaped front end...

I like the challenger for classic look it is big but it's flows well and is expected, i would typically want a mustang but the current ones look and feel soooo long physically. I love the s197 (2005-2009) size the next gen got too bloated and the current is stretched out too much. Camero maybe long as well but the portions for me make it seem "smaller"/ more sports car size

I like the handling dynamic of Mustang. So Mustang is my choice. Mustang was always the most agile among the muscle car trio since 1970s. While challenger was always the fat one and Camaro just trying to be a better Mustang. So Mustang stay true as well as challenger

Can you go over the Honda Accord one day. I own two Honda accords the 8th and 9th gen. I like the new one but I love car design and I really love the way the 8th gen looks. I feel like it's so classic and will never go out of style. I think Honda was making some great designs in those years. The CR-V, Civic, and pilot of that time are the best designed ones yet in my opinion.

Short, and straight to the point. Within 60 seconds I was able to tell you have zero clue about cars, zero clue on how to rate or compare them, and that this entire 10 minute "breakdown" is more or less a 10 minute rant about why one is prettier to you in your opinion because it looks....*checks paper* older?

The plate on mine says TRU MSCL. And for what it is, the cornering is actually pretty suprizing, But you have the best sounding engine, and it feels like it's 1970 all the time.

100% agree, the Mustang turned into a sportscar and the Challenger is still a muscle car... BUT I cannot glide over the Challenger's proportions.... just too fat!! It needs 10" shaved on the whole bottom. Way way too fat and bulky... Even some big wheels options look small with that body size. The interior looks good, but again, just way too big

The original Challenger was a beautiful car. The new one looks like an inflatable blow-up version of it.

The 2015 redesign of the Mustang was such a home run. I think the S197 has aged with mixed results, but the 2015+ S550 still looks so fresh to me, and even a clean GT will still catch my attention. SN95s have aged the worst, imo.

Yeah gotta disagree here. Challenger is too retro and single purpose. Its a "look" car with just power. The mustang is a proper GT, and the better ones are compelling sports cars. Cant beat that car for looks, performance, and price. I would say the biggest thing against(Not a problem for me) the current Mustang, is that its got a lot of Aston Martin DNA in it. It feels like it could have evolved from the 80s-vantage v8, and the 90s vantage v600. The grille is definately a leftover from when Ford owned Aston and stole their grille.

I came in knowing what to expect, and I'm still bummed out by your opinion. Literally every opinion video you make is like a nostalgia thing for you. Sometimes I agree, but this time is a no-go.

I have (unprofessionally) been drag racing at official drag strips since 1977. Sports cars are appealing, but it's muscle cars that get my blood pressure up!

The Mustang was never a muscle car. There were variants of the 68-73 that could wear that moniker, sure for homologation purposes mostly, but the Mustang was primarily a sporty rebody of a Falcon marketed at baby boomer secretaries and bachelors. Ford decided to devote attention to racing and contracted Shelby to convert the little couple into a sports car so they could go win some trans am trophies. This would make the mustang a sports car years before it got a monstrous motor as an option. Dodge has actually done the Challenger's history as a trans am car a disservice by focusing on muscle rather than balanced performance. The Charger was always the muscle car in its lineup. Then again, they have certainly found their niche haven't they?

I personally love Challengers. Because they are my dream car. Besides my dream car being a 1970 Charger. The new era Challengers are my go to. And if I did have a challenger I don’t need it to be powerful I just want to enjoy the feel of the muscle car like an SXT or RT. Especially RT it’s a good amount of power and not too much. And I don’t like to show off like other challenger owners I’ve seen do No offense scat pack challenger owners and art owners.

In my opinion the Challanger is the only muscle car left on this planet. It also got the best Design and definetely looks like a Muscle car. The Mustang isn´t a Muscle car anymore and doesn´t looks like one either.

What you don't understand is Ford decided to make the Mustang a global car and to be a global car you need a decide that will fit and please other market outside US. And boom the Current Mustang is the best selling Sports car in the world. If Ford kept the "muscular" look it wouldn't please the europeans and some because it's too bulky.

The current Mustang is based on the Ford Evos concept from 2011. Not the 2003 retro concept that was the basis of the previous generation. The foundation of the argument is wrong. The Challenger goes around corners well, buts a GT car spots not a track star.

The challenger since the redesign looks good, but….is way too heavy of a muscle car and only any good on a drag strip in a straight line. It sucks for turns an constantly shifting up an down in turns. The Mustang at least GT and up can do the job fast and in curves. It’s considered a heavy car but nowhere’s as ridiculous as the challenger for weight. The Mustang wins in performance on an actual track by a country mile vs dodge is a straight line car for people who want to pretend they are racers, but can’t actually race with talent short of go fast for a quarter mile.

The mid-cycle refresh of the current generation ruined it. Made it all droopy eyed, and extended nose. Those things don't work for that car.

The camaro and mustang had new generation in '15-16 and about to have a new one a few years from now atleast the mustang and the challenger is still riding that old ass platform. Dodge didn't choose to stay but it's literally what they have.

The Challenger definitely has more of that good ol' muscle car look and feel but if i had to pick between the two to buy I'd choose the Mustang although I'm not too interested in muscle cars anyway.

I prefer the 2015 Mustang. Besides the build quality I think it's amazing. It also has a nice screen that still holds up today. The Challenger on the other hand is just a terrible car.

Mustang is a pony car, not a muscle car.

I mean, I'm kinda over retro design that's heavily handed. Ford is by far the best brand when it comes to retro design, the mustang, bronco, and gt all have retro elements, and clearly have a resemblance to those designs from the 60s. But they're fresh and innovative at the same time. A world where we just constantly seek to relive the glory days rather than make the effort to create new icons is a very depressing idea to me.

I got a small headache because it’s a pony car vs muscle car comparison haha. It’s like comparing a sports car to a super car and asking why the sports car isn’t in the image of a super car. It’s just not a sound argument or comparison here, and I like both the mustang and challenger. Just because it’s American doesn’t make it muscle. Pony cars are an American take on European sports cars yet affordable for the American citizen. There’s a reason the mustang back in the 60s-70s looked more sporty than the Dodge Charger of its time. The challenger started off as a “pony” car and was marketed as such in the 70s for dodge, but then turned into a “muscle” car and is now marketed as a “muscle” car nowadays. Just like how dodge made the charger a sedan instead of the pure muscle car that it was in the 70s. The challenger is the ONLY car in this comparison WHOS changed category NOT the mustang. I dont know why ppl refuse to attempt to even get a mental grasp on this concept it hurts my brain mentally lol. But love the channel regardless. I just dislike when ppl ignore that mustangs and Camaros stayed pony cars and never changed, and only the challenger who was supposed to be the pony car answer to the original mustang and Camaro is the only one that “changed”.

I've been saying this for years, the Challenger is the best designed American car in decades imo. It's sexy, it's intimidating. You can spot the amber glare from over a mile away. It's a goddamned barge for the road. It's sexy.
