I think they want to go bankrupt. They are keeping the prices at ridiculous levels, especially with Interest rates sky high. Who the hell can afford that? I make good money and I can't. Crazy!
the car is paid for as soon as it leaves the factory parking lot. the dealer starts paying interest immediately. when the car is sold the dealer pays the bank back for the car. if a dealer is unable to pay the bank back the dealer is out of trust. the bank forecloses, liquidates & auctions everything like the used car inventory & parts inventory are auctioned off for pennies on the dollar. the dealer when desperate may put things like their house up as collateral. do you still want to be a dealer?
I just paid that price for my 2024 5.0 and have no regrets. I wanted a scat too but the dodge dealerships are trash and I didn’t wanna worry about somebody stealing it
I was in the market to get some type of muscle car but I realized a week ago that I'm done with these cars. And the main reason is because I heard Insurance companies are starting to reject these cars and some people with these cars in certain areas of America have literally gotten thrown off certain insurance companies because of the high crashes and theft of these cars. Insurance companies are on going to destroy these cars again like they did in the 70's.
don't forget about how these things eat fuel. when after novembers presidential erection the price of gas will pass $10.00-$12.00 a gallon. the car owner may have 6-7 years of payments on a car that may have has almost no value.
it is like how people in Florida have to pay more for their homeowners insurance. the market & the inventory of houses are & have become unsellable like cars. they had said in 2008 a crisis will/cannot happen again. go figure. where are we now?
Tbh ppl just don’t have that cash laying around 5-8 to grand. Ppl are fear of a recession things are to expensive overall. Then from insurance companies not even wanting to insure these cars & banks not wanting to finance unless under msrp. Yea they all will go under.
I actually talked to them about the Plum Crazy joint you showed. They have discounts on it so it's like 35k out the door. They won't negotiate a bit on that price though. I bought one somewhere else.
Great video! Thanks for going out every week to help those in the market for these vehicles to be able to know what’s still available and if the sticker price has changed.
I recently picked up a 2022 mustang gt with a manual.. challenger scat pack with a manual was definitely a car I was considering But at those prices and with lot rot NO WAY!
They should’ve brought out the straight 6 first! Then do a SUV, in an EV. And see how that goes first before you start bringing out your top car with all the electric until next year
Not just Dodge, there are huge inventory issues with other automakers, Ford is having serious recall issues and the economy looks to be going into the tank.
of course they are bankrupting Chrysler on paper. Chrysler is technically a totally separate entity from stelantis. after the bankruptcy comes liquidation. warranty is gone along with parts & service.
In my area in the northeast, the charger RT comes with a $3,700 rebate and the charger Scat Pack comes with a $5,000 rebate. On top of that, some of the dealers will offer you heavy discounts off the sticker prices. Pick out the car you like and go into the dealership and make a nice deal. These cars are nice but overpriced until you go inside and knock off thousands to the point that they are now worth it. I got my Charger RT a few months ago for a good price I could live with. If one dealer plays games with you, go to the next one. Not all dealers are the same.
@@BlakWiseCracker Since you asked so nicely my friend, I will "spit it out" for you (LOL). My Charger RT sticker was around $57,000 and came with the packages I wanted (Daytona, Sunroof, Harman Kardon, Nav, Performance, etc, in one of my top 5 colors), so it was fully loaded for my taste. Negotiated over $5,000 off sticker, which took 90 minutes of my life play acting scenes with the salesman and manager and getting up twice to almost walk out. That $5,000+ off covered my rip off taxes, doc & DMV fees which was my goal before we eventually converted to an "out the door price". When the dust settled the next day, I drove home with the beautiful car after getting insurance and bank check for $53,000 (around $4,000 off sticker price net after taxes/fees and the $3,700 rebate) which was the final out the door price. At the end of the process, I was (and still am) happy with my new 2023 Charger RT. You may very well say that I overpaid and you are entitled to your opinion. However, I am happy and can sleep at night. Each area is different. If I lived in the Southwest, I probablty could have save thousands more. As it turns out, I am glad I finally bought the car after many many months of considering it since there are now absolutely zero new cars in dealer inventory that match my criteria in my entire region. If wanted a similar car now, I would have to go out of state. So I go back to what I said earlier, If you want a specific car, go into that dealership and make a nice deal. Your nice deal may not match someone elses nice deal but who cares. I may only have a few years left on this planet so t I am enjoying driving my new toy around. LOL. To my other friend out there, Slack, keep up the great work out there. Since I can barely walk anymore, you are are one of my leg men out there and I love your videos.
I was shopping for a Scat a couple of months ago and the lot rot was real. Paint peeling, paint so rough you could lite a match off it & flat spotted tires so bad my wife even noticed the vibration on the test drive.
What was the reason for this video? to advertise HIGH PRICES for that Stealershp??? Hope they have to eat those cars with all the payments and insurance they have to pay while keeping them 2 plus years
its the dealers and OEMS, over priced and when dealers ADDED ADM on cars, both screwed buyers, i dont feel for these dealers and oems that go bankrupt its thier fault, buyers had enough over priced and scamships next to stealanitis,
Why is it you nee content creators making videos just talk and talk negative about Dodge and the prices. But you never go and talk to Jen inside and see if they will give you a deal same videos over and over for content and trying to make easy money sad world we live in
Because he already has a charger my guy. Why would he go in to negotiate a deal on a car he’s not buying? He’s making this content to show people that the prices are still high and these cars are still sitting so if anybody wants to go there they have room for negotiation.
@@GloomToon cause your saying my guy that over priced you don't have to buy you can ask since they been seating there for your viewers since you keep posting same like videos my not ask geez my guy really
@@erikalarid4318 I went in there and they said no and to come back when I can come up with the money. They not dropping the prices that why they have lot “Thottttt Lotttt Rotttts..” 😬🤣
