Your mustang is making crazy power and is badass but im curious how reliable it is while making that kind of power. I see a lot of cars that are crazy fast but after a few pulls on the track they breakdown. Also the demon is designed to race from a dig because of the 3.09 gears. Im pretty sure your mustang would still beat the demon at the drag strip but i would be willing to bet something would blow up on the mustang after about 10 hard runs on the track. Now a demon like Demonology’s has probably been down the track over 100 times and continues to run strong. On my hellcat i do plan to mod it to make it faster but maybe just add an extra 100hp max so that it can still be reliable and be able to race the hell out of it. Bro... you race on a damp road with a Demon on slicks. You think you were struggling to get traction? His car was struggling worse. On a dry strip your cars would get left by a stock Demon. You act so surprised that you pulled on him, that driver was terrible at putting that power down. Go race Demonology at the drag strip in his STOCK Demon and see how you do.

It all depends on how much power the mustang is making demon 850hp crack 750rwhp.... turbo mustang tuned easily 700-1000rwhp and 400lbs lighter. Plus demon set up for 1/4 mile not highway so I’m not surprised at the outcome. I don’t believe it’s the fastest car out there it may be 1 of the top 5 stock for stock.

Just like almost everyone is saying... the demon is designed to dig and rip from the start. not at 4th gear. doesn't look like he really had much moded either outside of bodykits which we all can agree do nothing...so yeah... you put yourself in a great position to win... and you won... A stock Demon might put 725 to the wheels, if that. Mopars are aparently know for the most power train loss amongst the big three, especially Viper drivetrains. I had my '04 Ram SRT 10 tested at a speed shop in Mesa, AZ a couple years back. The shop owner had multiple Hellcats ran for Bill Luke in PHX and the most any produced to the wheels was about 620. The higher the crank HP = the less % to the wheels. Any 300 whp difference can result in many car lengths, as we all just witnessed.
