A other mechanic was trying to tell me it's the PCU, or Distributor cap. But Ignition Coil! Got it. Thanks 🙏

Don't forget to check your key FOB! I went into the ocean with mine (yeah, I know) and an hour later car wouldn't crank, wouldn't stay started, and the horn started going off! Took me a while but finally thought of the FOB and completely corroded and wet on the inside. Sometimes it's something silly and stupid!

I have a 1999 Dodge Durango 5.9 SLT and had a crank, no start condition and a check engine light. Slapped a code reader on it and the crankshaft position sensor was bad. $70 part and $70 labor.

My durango did the same thing and all it was is the battery terminals needed to be replaced. Wires were not quite touching the battery

There's a solinoid in the trans mission that can ground out the pcm and give a no bus on the odometer , the cheap quick fix is to cut the 5v wire from the computer that goes to the transmission and y's off to a a/c sensor near the radiator, and that will allow the vehicle to run u just might have to manually shift the gears, happened on my kids 03 durango hoping to fix sensors soon he's cheap tho and don't wanna spend the money so who knows XD

Don't know if you keep up with these, im having same problem, replaced all plug's, Wire's, dist cap and rotar, coil pack. it seems to be getting fuel, i took off the breather to make sure it has air. still crank but no fire. Suggestions?

We are not getting any power on either of the two wires on the bottom of the coil. Replaced the coil, ecm crank position sensor and cap and rotor. Still not getting any power at the coil. Any suggestions?

I have an 03 Durango ran into a Similar problem however it turned out that I simply needed to Hard reset the PCM, I like your videos though broman I will be watching more.. Keep up the awesome work!! BTW I found out HOW to Hard reset it AFTER I bought a new one.. The irony of auto mechanics.. :)

The coil sit right by the manifold and when manifold leaks cases problems with wires and coils

I know this is a old video but my husbands 2005 Durango stalled out and will not start again. He’s replaced the crank sensor, cam sensor, fuel pump and battery over the last month. Now it’s just dead it cranks but won’t start. Do you think it’s the ecm???

Do you have power to the coil without cranking the engine seemed like it lit up as soon as you turned key over before the engine actually cranked?

I have a 2002 Durango...my issue started when I ran out of gasoline. I have about five gallons in it now but it still won't start. I was told the day I bought it to never let it run out of gas cause it will need a code to restart..how much is true and how and where do I get this code....help please!

My 98 started acting stupid after cleaning throttle body would not start until I replace all plugs and iac valve then threw a code crank sensor signal but continued to start then died after a week and would start just crank and another code p0545 egt sensor bank one and im having hell trying to find the sensor but today it fired up I drive it home after messing with ignition distributor wire ifk what this truck is doing

I have a 99 dodge Durango, I was at work driving slow through the property. It turned off and turned it back on it done that twice on me, after I was done with what had to do. I went back to the our carpenter shop, that's when I noticed that the transmission was leaking fluid from the front. After that I decided to take it for a short drive and noticed that it was running a little sluggish, I went ahead and replace the front seal and after getting it back in and everything hooked up, now it doesn't want to fire up it cranks but doesn't start up, does anyone have an idea of what I have over looked

Nic thanks for the video, I have a 5.9 Durango, same setup as your video. Both checks on the bottom side of the coil came back good but still not getting power on top of the coil between the distributor and coil using spark tester. I swapped a working coil from another truck still not spark top of the coil Battery is fully charged, any thoughts?
