Hello! So if anyone is interested in buying this head unit (there are many different screen sizes and different housing but look at the back of it and usually they all look the same and have the same internals.) I have found that it is great for cheap. Still, there is 1 big downside that no one seemed to talk about through many RU-vid videos, the audio quality (surround sound, and audio chips that are built in with the uConnect 430 series) are lacking in the aftermarket unit. Yes, that is to be expected but what I found is if you turned the volume up to any higher levels (to hear it if the windows are down or whatever) it will start to distort the audio usually I found the front tweeters start to pop really really loudly and the other side of volume if at 1% volume, it still was pretty audible. The equalizer is kinda a mess to get it perfectly aligned. So I did a decision I should of not have done (I did return everything after all of this keep in mind) I got a Kicker amp that had fancy stuff built in to make it sound good yet still after all of that it just did not sound as good as the factory sound system, Yes the factory sound system is not the best in the market but this just made it worse so I got it uninstalled and returned it. This is due cause the uConnect system already had Dolby Atmos built-in and other technology to enhance it and professionals already tuned it (THAT WAS ACCORDING TO THE AUDIO TECH THAT INSTALLED THE AMP.) Hopefully, this is helpful for anyone who was concerned about that. -side note all my 6 speakers were upgraded to the stock Infinity speakers (the previous ones were damaged and found Infinity ones cheap at the junkyard) -the issue with the head unit is that the audio was worse than the factory head unit, and it got very hot if you had a high volume for a while. Otherwise, if you want Carplay/Android auto for cheap it's an okay alternative. I have no idea how it sounds if you already have the 10-speaker amplified audio system so if you have this didn't really help, sorry!
