I am a Nitro owner. Before I had a Caliber. Both of them will remain into my heart because Dodge used to build such a good cars, thanks to their engineers high experience!
That’s true (leaving aside crappy plastic interiors), those cars are really good even tho the bad rep. I still own my 2010 caliber SXT with 78k miles on it and still runs like a charm. The renewed interior in the 2010+ versions left that wagon in a sweet spot. My caliber hasn’t had any major problems, just AC compressor and alternator replacement. It’s almost a 13 yo car and is still kicking around.
I have a 2,010 Dodge Nitro I just put alot of money in it I put new struts ball joints & rack and pinion steering and a new power steering pump and a new thermostat new brakes and rotors new plugs and clean synthetic oil and air filter and a new starter and a new belt and pulley and new Michelin tires 20s it was worth every penny to do all this work next I am getting my rims power coated blue to match my ride then I'm thinking about putting a duel exhaust a Flow Master and last a new L&M intake filter I love my Dodge Nitro I am a musician and It has plenty of room for my gear.
I haven't had any problems with my Nitro I'm loving it if I had to do all over again I would do it again it runs like a Champion I use Mobil one oil in it and it runs strong.
yes they are all wheel drive with limited slip tech in front and rear. nitro's are assume 4x4's they have a lot of the jeep tech in them as well. I've had mine off road many time and love it just wish they had suspension up grades
I am still driving my 2010 Dodge Nitro I put alot of work into it but after that I have never had any problems with it I decided not to put a dual exhaust on it I ended up putting some nice 20 inch custom tires and Rims I went with black mine is a SXT 4x4 I have 100 thousand miles it now and it's running strong I use Mobile one oil in it.
@@GKerim I didn't know they made a 2.8 Nitro all I know is that I am loving my SXT Nitro it's great in the snow I am very satisfied with mine there great SUVs.
Just hit 222k miles on my 2008 Nitro SLT. It has just about everything wrong with it but it’s my first car still so I’m trying not to let it die. Just replaced the brakes at home- paid a friend to do most of the work. Great car, great memories. Hope it lasts a few more years.
@@GKerim pretty sure that’s a diesel so yes, I’d still choose that personally. I’ve only heard good things about them engines but since I live in the states, I’ve never actually seen one. I’m not sure if the US sold them but I know Europe and Australia sold the 2.8 diesels.
@@BeSavge do you still have it? If so what’s wrong with it? Mine has 285,000 but I’ve had my share of repairs and it’s still goin, they’ll last 300k+ if you maintain them right. I’ve met a few people with nitros between 250k and 400k. Insanely underrated engine (3.7 not sure about the 4.0)
