Same old story with all the regular cab 2wd 8sp trucks. New driveshaft wont break, but its going to crack the tail shaft of the trans like all the others have done. Going to have to step down to 3.21 or 3.55 gears, and pull it in 5th gear instead of 6th. Or put a custom 2 piece driveshaft on there.

I have a 2001 Dodge RamCharger from Mexico, I just spent the last 3 months down in Texas, and my driveshaft blew off the rear diff too, 2200 miles away from home! Got'er all fixed up and just got back to Saskatchewan today at lunchtime.

What about the "BSM warranty"? Hey Dennis, you know the drill. 30 days or 30 feet, whichever comes first 😂. That's a false torque reading. On a strong cammed 5.7 with bolt ons he might see an extra 100 hp at the wheels. I'm saying around 420(around 6.4 power)

Glad it was only the driveshaft. I dont look at tnings like that as a fail. It's just the truck telling you what to upgrade next.😊 Impressive numbers for just a 2 second run.

I think it was somewhere in the low 500's for horsepower. She's a torquey beast though.

Get a custom QA1 driveshaft and probably be 510 torq when all said and done

Damn. .. then some diesel numbers from a gasser .. some of the 06 and older diesles didn't make that much torque... But none the less I'd make sure you invest in a drive shaft that can handle in excess if 1,000 lb feet of torque.. but that is awesome... You husy sacrificed a drive shaft on the alters of science , torque, and crazy shade tree garage builds 🤣💪
