Seems like he struggled most of that series, but he came to life in game 6. Could smell another ring, and he showed up. He's a much better player when the stakes are high, and someone has to finish the job. Dodgers never get to the World Series without Mookie saving runs against Atlanta. He was horrible in 2022 llast night against the Phillies. The contract is bad unless you add in the 2020 World Series win. Which most Dodger fans do.

@@Vinny6288 I had to cheer Machado when he wore Dodger blue, but did not miss him when he signed with the Madres. Then he "betted" his salary that the Madres would get a WS ring before the Dodgers. Pffft. I'm sure Machado is enjoying looking at highlight reels of the Padres end-of-regular-season win, while Kersh, Belli, Seager, JT, Mookie, et al are enjoying looking at our World Series trophy.

Right...that game was extremely difficult to watch and revisit. As well as The Azul played such sharp, fundamental baseball, that game was a nightmare.

The greatest at not playing by the rules. Just had to have Turner or as he is now known as "URNER"...think about it...for ignoring the COVID19 "bubble" rules and exposing his teammates, opposing players, family (including children), staff, and fans to his virus. Where is MLB when it comes to following the rules or "Playing Fair and Square". The answer is...they are ignoring it. MLB and Turner's motto is "Win at Any Cost" including possibly taking the life of an innocent person who just happened to be close enough to catch his disgusting virus. I never want to hear anyone complain about the Huston sign-stealing scandal ever again. That pail in comparison. This is far worse. Someone other than Turner knew about his condition before he was allowed to play in game 6. Perhaps the entire team. Eventually, the truth will come out and MLB will ignore it just as they do with every major violation of the rules as long as they are making money. This behavior takes cheating down to a whole new level. So you see, this Dodgers team is in fact one of the greatest for cheating that is, and their record will stand for a long, long time. What a way to be remembered. Nex time, follow the rules.

@Zonis First of all, quit running your mouth. The Dodgers nor Turner “knew” about it. The league handles their testing, not the Dodgers or the Rays. The guy was in the dugout and in the clubhouse with the team for hours... (several weeks in the same hotel together, with their families)... Every report I’ve heard so far said the lab contacted the league as soon as his result was conclusive. He was asked to leave the game simultaneously. You’re suggesting the Dodgers were previously aware, not the case. If you want to blame anyone blame the process that allowed him to play and then receive a result mid-game.
