After Major League Baseball released a report that found the Houston Astros illegally used technology to steal signs in its 2017 World Series victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers, members of the Dodgers address the scandal at Dodgers FanFest. I still think it's a disgrace that MLB didn't punish the players at all and yet they put in their report the whole scheme was "player driven" But that's ok, the Astros are going to be punished every road game by the opposing players and fans

1. They’re protected by the player’s union. 2. There’s no way to know exactly how much each individual player cheated, or their involvement. That makes punishment difficult.

Won I can’t say who would have won between the Yankees and Dodgers. All I know is that would have been a dream series for everyone including MLB. In 2018, we both were screwed as well. The Red Sox were a monster of a team- however, 108 wins? Do you know how hard it is to get over 100 wins let alone 108? And once again- it was the Dodgers and Yankees. Sickening

The Yankees were onto it, constantly switching signs during the ALCS. They knew the Astros were stealing signs, just now exactly how. I have to say this definitely crosses the line. A guy on 2nd is a give me, but technology with no one on, that's too far, WAY too far. I wondered about this for years, especially with the cameras zooming in so clearly on the catcher's signs, and announcers even saying stuff like "here comes the curveball".

Dude the Yankees were big time robbed. Were the Dodgers cheated out of a WS? Yes. But before that, the Yankees were cheated out of a pennant and a World Series appearance. CC was cheated of a second ring, Judge was cheated out of a AL MVP award. There's no guarantee that the Dodgers would have beaten the Yankees or vise versa.

You have to punish them in a way that would apply to every team. If MLB stripped Houston of their championship, how could they give equal punishment to a team that did the same thing but ended the year outside the postseason in the middle of the pack? MLB handed down a punishment that could hypothetically be handed down to any other team that did these things.

Your team are scummy cheaters, but there needs to be consistency with how these things are handled, and that means MLB needs to simply look at what was done and not the what ifs of potential impact on the outcome, otherwise some teams are getting harsher punishments than others.

I am so happy to finally see the Dodgers speak out against the trashstros. As with so many of you this has been very, very upsetting. Then watching Alex Bregman answering questions the same way 5 times, but during the 4th, and 5th he gave his ridiculous laugh with it. I would suggest every Dodger, Yankee, and any MLB fans to go to Alex Bregmans RU-vid channel, and let him know that he has ruined so many careers, and made the MLB look stupid. I love my team now more than I ever have. I waited literally my entire life to see them make it to the World Series. I went to see it for myself. Called in sick, took days off, spent all the money I had worked hard for to be front row of left field and watch them play the 2017 World Series, all the way to game 7. It’s hurt my heart so much to have been cheated out of a title, and you know what? I respect my boys in blue so much to this point, I am more motivated to go to dodger stadium and support this team in 2020, and I hope that by the grace of God, the Dodgers organization gets the ring I feel we truly deserve. No team deserves to be cheated out of a World Series title, I mean honestly. Go Dodgers, forever and always!! 💙⚾️

I'm a Nationals fan, watched these guys slowly dismantle us at home in NLDS game 5 in 2016--and none of that matters. These are the facts: 1. The Astros won a WS while cheating 2. They quite possibly won BECAUSE they cheated 3. They were arrogant while cheating 4. MLB documented that they cheated 5. Pitchers' career WERE negatively affected 6. Astros players showed no remorse about any and all of the above The Astros are utterly classless, as players and as an organization. The Dodgers just look immensely better as a team and as individuals. Wonder if MLB purposely avoided any match-ups this year at Dodger Stadium.

@oliver j 2019 I can understand that National is better team still won despite the Astros cheat. But there is strong argument that the Astros beat the dodgers coz they were cheating . The Astros beat dodgers4-3, And dodgers lost 2 games at Astros home field, also look at game 5, dodgers once has 4 run lead, and another 4 runs lead again after Astros tie the game, that barely happen for a baseball game, and obviously Astros won that game by cheating. Without cheating , I am pretty sure the dodgers will won that year World Series with more than 90% probability.

I understand how and why the Astros players were given immunity (so they can spill the beans) but suspensions to management and loss of a few draft picks is NOT a deterrent . While I don't believe the Dodgers deserve to be named 2017 champions (I still feel you need to win it on the field), MLB should definitely force the Astros to VACATE the championship and declare NO WORLD SERIES winner for 2017 in the record books. All trophies and rings should be surrendered. That will send a message.

My heart really goes out to Kershaw. Man of integrity. He fought fairly and was taken down by cheating low-lifes. I wish their titles could be taken from them and banned from pro sports. Examples need to be made - especially when it’s basically the entire team that cheated. Horrible. Simply horrible. My hunch is CK will eventually take this and use it as a HUGE teaching moment for youth. I can hear it already ... “Sometimes life is not fair ..... Rise above ... The glory really is all God’s anyway...” I can just see how far he could go with this in reaching the young folks who look up to him. He has basically won, even tho he lost.
