Today was Betts and Kershaw day. It was a great comeback. The attack in the top of the 7th inning was a good one that had great meaning for both Shohei Ohtani and the future of the Dodgers. just…. The only thing that concerns me is Kelly's pitching control. I think it has something to do with not being able to maintain a certain temperament. He's an attractive pitcher, but I always feel like it's a waste.
Roberts putting Kelly in with 2 out in the 6th was a bad managerial mistake. Kershaw had a shutout going with only about 84 pitches thrown, he could easily have finished the inning.
I'm sure there are many people who praise Ohtani and Betts, so I'd like to send Kershaw grand praise for his one win, on the other hand to express my rage at 0:38. Cut it out!😡💢
@@ALANPA-do6sk4ej4zMy only guess is to keep Clayton fresh for the postseason. Also he did have shoulder surgery so keeping his pitch count as low as possible may help Clayton out in the long run.
Dave Robert's takes out Kershaw while only needing 1 out to end the inning, and what happens? 3rd or 4th time this happens. When will clueless Roberts learn 🙄
Roberts loves pulling pitchers early😭 I get that he doesn’t wanna overwork them and all but when we have one of the weakest Bp in the league let’s have our starters do what they can to
Ohtani/Betts/Freeman back in the top 3 is great to see! Teoscar gave us a good showing while Betts was out... let's hope his hot bat continues to shine in the cleanup spot. And with Lux actually hitting AND fielding like we all wanted to see for so long, it's a good LUXury to have him OR Betts able to hold down the 2nd baseman spot with authority. Our bullpen needs to figure things out and our starters need more consistency. Hopefully the stretch run shores things up and we can enter October trending right.
Today is my birthday. I am 11 years old and I’m happy of Dodgers to win. I am in middle school and the Dodgers won and then I say I was excited so decided to say let’s go Dodgers.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊👍
Roberts moronic managing let the Brewers back in the game and could have lost the game. Let Kershaw pitch to one more hitter. His pitch count was only in the low 80s and he's throwing a shutout. Go to the bullpen to start the 7th.
@@reno-san87 Bwaahaahaa!! Definitely not crying tinsel toes...We don't cry here where MEN live, but u wouldn't know anything about that California doll..🤣
Dave Robert’s messing up the flow of the pitching game…once again… should’ve left Kershaw in there to close out the 6th. He does this every playoffs, u can get away with it in season games, but when it’s playoffs, other teams will capitalize
Mookie's return couldn't have come any sooner for the Dodgers at this point in the season. Easily my pick for Player of the Game and he did it on both sides of the ball, too. Kershaw needs to continue pitching 'unpredictable' to the opposition if he has ANY hope of remaining in the rotation come playoff time. Shame 'Taxman' Dave had to yank him with 2-out in 6th instead of leaving him in to go for that one final out. Nearly backfired again on him, too (NOT Kelly's fault, ump did miss that Strike 3 call on the outside corner to Contreras prior to the HR on the next pitch). Other than that, bullpen looks solid once more and the situational hitting continues to improve of late. Hope to see Stone get piggybacked for tonight's game, GO DODGERS!!!
Dave Roberts already in postseason form! the best pitcher of this generation has 2 outs in the 6th and you pull him and almost blow the lead with that bum Joe Kelly! how Roberts still has a job amazes me.
Bro... Mookie scared me again! And FINALLY Shohei hits a homer.. (after 50 make anyone cry at bats...), please get him in the cage with mookie and freddy to teach him how to hit a ball 😂, LETS GOOOO DODGERSSSS!!
why does Roberts always switch the pitcher when he is in control of the game? i find it hard that we all know the Dodger bullpen is not running in all cylinders, and he still does this?
So unfortunate that Joe Kelly got squeezed with that 3rd strike which then setup a two-run bomb. Kershaw was probably thinking, “I could’ve done better than a home run.”
I think Kershaw is close to being done. His FB is 85-88mph. Still has a fantastic deuce though. Will be interesting how the Dodgers use him in the playoffs.
With a 320 million dollar payroll, 3 MVPs and a Cy Young winner, you shouldn't only be 2.5 games up on the Brewers who were projected to not even be in the top 10 in baseball.
@@hemantjain6679 Hello Hemant. Are you from India or are you an American? I am Rahul from Bengaluru. The Cy Young pitcher is barely starting his season and one MVP was injured for a while and another is recovering from elbow surgery. But I appreciate the Brewers team too.
Damn that was HARSH. Way to make Mookie nervous first @ batt. That pitch was on purpose and welcome to professional baseball… You don’t want someone jumping on the first pitch or make them nervous. Throw one @ him like that. Messed him up for sure
Let's not forget when the two played in LA the umpires giffted the Dodgers a win by calling a strike all game as a ball but then decided to give freeman a ball leading to them winning the game only to give the same pitch a strike again later into the game against the Brewers... Dodgers have three MVPs and a Cy Young winner to only be 2.5 games ahead of the Brewers... just waiting for the Dodgers typical playoff choak.
I think Roberts is a terrible manager and they need to get rid of them on top of that moving Will Smith which is a number two hitter down to number six is a freaking joke everybody has a slim throughout their career you don't make them feel less confident by moving them way down specially under lux which is a terrible hitter that isn't the way I would reward a great catcher by putting him in the six spot that's a joke Roberts is a complete idiot
