Yamamoto looks really good. He might become an elite pitcher. Two innings bases loaded, most guys would sweat in this situation but Yamamoto calmly strikes the next guys out to save the innings twice!

Those first 2 innings the Cubs and Muncy really made Yamamoto work; But 10 straight scoreless innings after that fateful day in Korea... Id say he's just fine.

So many people were preying on his downfall after that start in Korea...he then responds by pitching 10 scoreless innings across 2 games, and today pitched out of 2 consecutive bases loaded jams. Yamamoto is legit.

Was so disappointed by Yamamoto's first start. As someone who follows the NPB, I know what Yamamoto is capable of, and I'm so glad he's hitting his stride. Still think he'll win at least 1 Cy Young Award in his career

First two times bases load the pitch was low and called a strikeout on Swanson, and another high pitch strikeout was called, been a different game. Could have gone either way and pressure on Yomamoto.
