Overall, I liked their performance today. I still think we could be stronger in certain areas, but there were contributions from throughout the lineup, and the pitching did well to not allow any runs after the second inning. They really battled, and it’s the kind of thing we need to see more of if they’re going to succeed in the playoffs.

Sorry to all Tigers fanboys but Skubal just isn't HIM. Up 3-0 today and he still had to blow it and give his bullpen a tough job by allowing that HR and another run...given that the Defense Tigers played was awesome and they saved a couple of runs for him. Can't compete with guys like Ragans, Lugo, Singer, Nola, Houck, heck I would even say someone like Ranger Suarez.
