The on field interviews are cringe. Especially the one they did with Lindor during the London game yesterday.

I _hate_ those in-game interviews with players on the field. It also bugs me when they move the camera away from the game! Keep it on the game! And David Cone... never allow that clown to broadcast Yankees' games! That great play made by Heyward obviously showed us that he caught the ball! We could see it with our own eyes! That fact was even supported by his broadcast partner! Yet, Cone said, "I say they use the original call on the field, because we can't tell if the ball was caught or not"??? Homer!

@@sovietmuffin501, even when they interview someone in the dugout, sometimes they don't cut back quick enough, and the pitch had already been tossed! I've seen that more than once in the past couple of years.

You actually have pretty good taste. The only other teams i can see bringing this type of quality baseball, at the moment, would be the Phillies vs the Orioles, but no two teams will bring the hype like the Dodgers- Yankees.

Had this been a playoff series best of 3 then the Yankees never would've gotten the 3rd game to save what little bit of face they did with the help from the umpires.

@@jesus16500 It's only a matter of time before it causes a huge blunder in the field. I might be pushing it with this one, but I wonder if it messed up Verdugo in this one. As he is talking, the ball is hit down the line and banks off the wall making it an easy double. Maybe Verdugo plays that the same way even with full concentration, but he didn't seem ready for the ball to hit the wall and redirect. And maybe even if does play it clean and anticipates the angle, it would still be a double. But something about that all just seemed awkward. And I can't be alone in this, but I don't feel like this enhances my TV experience. Instead it just makes me anxious over how they should be paying attention to the action, which I can't even really pay attention to anymore because of this sideshow going on.

I'm sure the MLB wants to see broadcasts juice up the game with anything special to keep audience attention, but I think that's stupid in the middle of play. Guys in the field should not be trying to talk to broadcasters while they should be focused on the game.
