David, you of all people should know that a worse inning than the Yankees yesterday is definitely the Cubs NLCS game 6 in 2003. Five outs a way, then you have the Bartman incident, then the error at shortstop, and they give up 8 runs in that inning.
Hey David, seriously, why doesn’t MLB force the sale of some of these franchises if the owners aren’t willing to invest in the product? They did it with that POS McCourt in L.A. Please I’d like to know. Thank you. Love your videos.
I think the 9th inning of the 1986 World Series is comparable for the Red Sox. I’m a Mets fan and the Red Sox had that game and the whole series in the bag already but blew it on a couple of singles, a wild pitch, and an error on an easy ground ball.
@KevinStiff86 agreed but if I'm not mistaken, David had them not even making playoffs. So from his perspective, the season should be branded a wild success.
There is no way the NBA owners would keep the WNBA if it's actually been losing that amount of money regularly. Would anyone be surprised if it was revealed that the NBA was cooking the books?
The WNBA as a single entity looses money. When the owners show a consolidated set of books, they still show a profit. The can absorb it, they just don't want to do it forever.
‘It’s not that you lost the game that troubles me so, my son. It’s how you lost.’ A glaringly, horrific example of all that is weak about the Yankee organization. Checked in on the game with Cole throwing hitless ball and the Yankees up 5-0, and then nightmare. Inexcusable. I feel for Yankee fans. 3 homeless teams. Horrific leadership by the continually propped woeful Manfred. If they have a work stoppage, this 66 year old who loves ⚾️ above all other diversions, won’t care. Industry run by imbecile greedheads.
