No Tyler Glassnow, no Gavin Stone, no Clayton Kershaw, no Evan Phillips, no Dustin May, no Tony Gonsilon and no River Ryan... This playoff run was all heart!
The Yankees self destructed in the 5th inning, and the Dodgers took advantage, I have never seen an inning like the 5th, the Yankees imploded. Congrats to the Dodgers, they were the best team in baseball this yr they earned it
@@EniyanValentine yeah it wasnt a shot at him i'm just saying that even with him not being 50% of what he can be they won 4-1. It's just crazy. Next season is not gonna be fair
@@codydouglas8631 oh yeah like a First BALLOT Hall of fame. Can hate him all they want dude is a baller. Colin shut run his mouth no skill as an athlete so easy to criticize when you never play nothing in your life. They get paid huge bucks for this also. So Lazy
Love it when you talk baseball! It’s always insightful & I can tell you’re a huge fan & understand the game. You’ve said many times the topic doesn’t “move the meter” for your radio show but still,…
Dave Roberts was my all time favorite Dodger and I was devastated when he was traded to Boston,,, but elated that he sparked that historic “reverse the curse” comeback against the Yankees… and now it’s become full circle that my favorite dodgers player has brought us a dynasty as a manager
i just love how good these guys are in terms of personality compared to nba players. shohei mookie freeman these guys when they talk about each other there is no envy they actually root for each other. freeman won mvp, and i saw how genuinely happy shohei is for him. compare that to kyrie/lebron, jordan/pippen, shaq/kobe even the good guy curry was pissed KD won finals mvp. baseball definitely have the most normal relatable athletes in any sports. freeman deserves that mvp, after what he went through recently.
As a giants fan i was torn, i hate the dodgers but I felt betrayed and humiliated by judge when he was flirting with the giants during his free agency but ended up using us for a big deal by the Yankees. I can't root for the Yankees to do anything positive after that. Honestly I didn't like any of the teams the dodgers played in the playoffs. Hate the pads, mets, Yankees. Man that was rough
I despise both teams. I am a Giants fan...so of course can't stand the Dodgers...and of course...screw the Yankees. However...this year I found myself at least lightly pulling for the Dodgers. I agree with However, Colin said at 8:25...like I hate the Dodgers as an origination...but tbh there aren't that many players or coaches on the staff that I "hate". Was really hoping Ohtani would play better, but his injury and starting cold was too much to overcome. I was rooting for him, 100%. Man... we are in the wrong timeline lol.
@@nicholasgigliotti8899 Yeah, but you can really despise the Yankees just because they're the Yankees (and some of their fans). No rivalry with the team needed.
Congrats to the dodgers, y’all SHOULD win at least another 2 or 3 this decade. Although I’m secretly hoping, if they do go after Juan Soto, they’ll finally usher in what baseball has always needed… a salary cap.
I think it’s because of how zoned in Cole was facing the previous few batters that when Mookie hit a ground ball he finally let out a breath of relief and thought he’s gotten out of it, but that split second loss of concentration costed them heavily
I was frustrated. I said onto game 6. I was mad. But I knew after game 1 not to stop watching. They pulled it our. I'll remember this for the rest of my life
Aaron’s killed the yanks in game 1 and 5. Boone took out Cole early again and cost the win again. And omg how awful is Aaron Judge in the playoffs. Didnt know if that was Judge or Ben Simmons
The Dodgers will add either Willie Adames or Juan Soto to their offense next season. Their pitching staff will add Ohtani, Glasnow, Gonslin, May, Stone, and River Ryan off of injured reserve. They will also have options on what to do with Kershaw, Buehler, and Flaherty. Oh, and there is Roki Sasaki, a 22 year old pitcher in Japan, that the Dodgers are front runners to sign. If they stay healthy, this is an all time team.
Even after that play at 1st base where Cole didn't cover, the game was still 5-1 with 2 outs. Not enough credit is given to the Dodgers who got back-to-back clutch hits to tie the game. Also, the Yanks were up again 6-5. Yanks blew that lead too. Then against extremely worn out Treinen, no runs. Against Buehler who started 2 nights before, nothing either. It is not all about the errors.
Ohtani has a world series ring. wow. been 20 years since I watched a baseball game. NY played like a little league team. oh ya no one talking about the high inside to Judge last night probably breaking some fingers. Hard to catch with broken fingers. also I think they went high inside to Soto as well. No retaliation no one charging the mound. I Though ohoh here we go then nothing. 90 mph on the fingers holding the bat got to hurt
i disagree with colin on one point here changing QBs in pittsburgh was never never going to lose the locker room because Mike Tomlin is the locker room
The Yankees got straight up embarrassed. They are nowhere near as good a team as the Dodgers. I'd say the Padres and the Mets are better than the Yankees.
SF hasn't peaked 😂. They haven't even been whole this season yet. They really pick it up in November and have since Kyle has been there . Brock is having a great year considering the revolving door of wr and rb. Hell Mahomes looks terrible this season but has an amazing defense to keep him in the games.
MLB needs a Salary Cap for teams like the NFL so big cities with alot of money don't dominate the sport. Also, they have way too many regular season games that makes it hard to spend the amount of time to follow your team.
Spends whole segment talking about the gambler that MLB covered for, who didn't perform well. Skips the guy that carried them to victory, Freddie Freeman, who also helped carry the Braves to championship. Money will out. Screw Cowturd.
Please stop with the act like the dodgers don’t go out and just pay every all star on the open market. I don’t care that they won the World Series but they won because they didn’t have Ohtani, Betts, or let’s just say the World Series mvp freeman, then they have unlimited money and those guys are on their team lol. I cracked the case for you Colin.
Gentleman’s Sweep 🧹 Judge and Ohtani didn’t live up to the hype but Freeman deserves all the praise! Boone sold game 1 and it was over after that Freddie Grand Slam for the series.
He grew up at least being familiar with the sport and players. Yeah, he might have people watching and writing it up for him now. But at least he sounds like he knows what he's talking about.
@@dpackerman4203 I agree with that I just feel like he fits a lot of places and could've become a champ at least like 5 different places I don't think he necessarily needed to be a Dodger good for them and their fans though
