Does $$$ buy you a better sounding and performing exhaust? AVO Cat Back Exhaust Review 

Ditch the cats and put a snorkel on it with a huge filter ELEMENT in a sealed box then tune it! Haha. A good catch can system would probably help too! Running huge tyres might as well go the whole hog! I had a pretty wild naturally aspirated V8 with head work, cams, intake manifold porting, extractors and tune. Biggest gain apart from race fuel was removing the cats. They choke up a naturally aspirated engine soo much. The gain was over the entire dyno graph too and torque as well.

new set up definitely got rid of the straight pipe, thong-slap sound, but it now sounds kind of stock. not sure i'd be too happy with that massive rear muffler (axle back) either. wonder how longer before you rip it off when off road? maybe try unbolting it and replacing it with a hot dog axle back to get your clearance back? Also, you should have looked into a custom length J-pipe with your old setup. It would have got rid of the drone but kept the loudness.

Why not show the dyno numbers? They're useful for calculating a percentage increase across the rev range. Thanks so much for the content.

Put a Manta 3 inch cat back to diff $750 fitted and it sounds awesome none of that horrible cackle or droning when towing and lot of people have commented on good it sounds.

Nice job man, I put Magna flow on mine and the sound became cool, this the only thing was missing on the Y62 cool sound

Maybe it's me, or the mic, but there sounded like minimal change in drone between the 2?

If your first exhaust note was with the stock muffler, your exhaust note in the AUS is way louder than the stock exhaust note in the USA.

Did you heat shield the new exhaust in the same spots as the factory one by any chance? Do you recommend doing so? Cheers

I am getting codes all the time now too....2013 build Ti-L 98k km....already has a CAT back exhaust....will putting the AVO second cat delete pipes help?? want to avoid the cost of a full system

I think your own centre muffler sounds way better that is in your other video. Much better burble with your one with out the cabin drone

The new exhaust looks like a cow calling its little child.

Loud exhaust on a truck is like loud exhaust on a Harley Davidson, you're making a bunch of noise for no reason. If you want to go fast and make noise get a fast car or fast motorcycle. Okay, I'm just bitter that the 4.0 in the Frontier sounds like a Honda Civic with exhaust. I'll put exhaust on it when I VK56 swap it... but loud Harleys are retarded.
