My local pro shop had the same attitude, which is why I now do my own bow work and buy all my arrows from online sources now to build myself. I've bought several other big brand bows since this one, but I still have a soft spot for it when I just want to go sling some arrows.

sadly they tend to blow up. that’s why pro shops don’t set them up

Not all shops have this mentality but shops not working on these could be a good thing. It forces you to learn about bows so you don't rely on shops to do everything for you. My friend and I brought ours to a local shop/range and the range master helped us tune the sights. I've done all other works on both our bows since then after learning more about bows archery in general

Shops not working on inexpensive bows just seems arrogant. Not sure I’d give them anymore business.

I'm glad u said this . I'm just getting into archery and was about to fork out 600 for a bow . Would rather buy decent bow and get some better accessories and start from there .

Thats the one im thinking about. Got a x9 for my wife for christmas, but im thinking the 10 might be the way to go. Seems like a lot of bow for the price

@@bojannovkovic8818 I'm 6'6". I still haven't got it all dialed in just right, because I've been having some shoulder issues lately. I think this bow is technically about a half inch short, but a half inch is still workable. Should probably work just right for you.

quite good actually for the price@@coleweeks1477 the nice part was being able to upgrade the accessories as I learned more about archery, then just swapping them over to the new bow when I found a good deal. it's a good quality bow and very adjustable so it would also be good to pass down to a younger/smaller shooter to learn on

x8 and x9 are same bow...

@@FarzBorneo I understand that lmao. But the accessories that come with the x9 are more fit for higher poundage and longer draw length. The accessories in general are much better from what I can tell, justifying the higher price lmao

​@@HaxenHuntis this worth the money for deer season? Nebraska deer season is coming up really soon and it's gonna be my first bow hunt. If this is adequate do you have any suggestions on arrows I should use on big game. I'm already upgrading to a good whisker biscuit and wanna make sure if I have the opportunity to absolutely bag me a decent size buck.

Try a stiffer spine.

Your bottom cam is probably hitting ahead of the top a little. A pro shop can fix it quickly with a fast string adjustment.

@@scottdavis2133 I *am* a pro shop. Been doing this for 20 years in my basement after having worked at 3 different archery shops. Everything on the bow was set perfect. Two Sanlida Dragon X8s and both of them tuned nock low under 29" drawlength. I changed arrows stiffnesses; I swapped limbs left to right (they were all the same deflection rating); I flipped limbs top to bottom; I changed rests from a QAD (cable-driven) to a Hamskea (limb driven); I played with the tiller. I even tried putting shims between the rocker pivots and the top limbs. You name it, I tried it. I even tried deliberately changing the drawstops to hit first at both top and bottom. Go buy one and test it for yourself. I only bought one because Sean McVey (Sean's Outdoor Adventures) said it was an awesome bow, but he's a 31" draw, so it would tune perfect for him. Like I said - anything above 29". I wanted to see what the hype was about. Well, it's a great bow if you're 29" or longer. That's it. I even went back and forth with Sean in emails detailing my findings. He said he didn't have time to verify them yet, but he might in the future. We'll see.

Sorry to hear that then, I had the same issue and fixed it with a string twist.

Only with a 31 inch draw. 27" draw maxes at about 64lb
