Sir, I agree with you. The USA has never really faced a situation in which its survival is threatened. Its historical experience when faced with war is quite different from that of Israel.

If you are not from money going into a degree in Journalism is a VERY risky decision to make. Universities are not private companies mostly afaik, so they are dependent somewhat on the government funding. If they depend mostly on the government, they are essentially in the public sector. If they are in the public sector that means they are most likely on the left. STEM degrees can actually be more dependant on the private sector (as they often cooperate with the local industry on research). Humanities studies on the other hand do not have a private sector to cooperate with mostly...

This is a good discussion. Does America understand the Middle East? Listening without judging and pure observation is a step for myself. A very good discussion or what I see a dialogue that is welcomed. People are inherently good, except myself. There is good and evil and in the middle they coexist. It is unintentionally super ironic to ask whether America truly understands the Middle East... The real question is, does the Middle East understand America? America is an empire. The first task of an empire is to remain one. Therefore, its first job is to make sure that no vassal becomes a hegemon in his region. The empire therefore must help the uppity-vassal's enemies to keep the vassal in its place. In the Middle East, Israel is the rising power, which takes away from the US power. So like every normal empire, the US allegedly helped Egypt in 1967 by sending the spy ship "Liberty" to listen in on the IDF's comm's., and hand them to Egypt. It later stopped Israel from finishing off the Egyptians, and later, seeded second-rate generals in the IDF, all controlled by the Wexner program, to make sure Israel stays a vassal. Later still, it helped Iran build up its finances, and allegedly helped Egypt help Hamas. What is surprising in all this, is that the broadcasters find this surprising. Haven't they read history? Lord Curzon famously said that Britain will always support Europe's secondary power against the first one, whichever these ones might be. Sir Humphrey, in the famous TV program, made it into a joke, re today's Britain and the EU, but it is true nevertheless. Empires must always act to lower the nose of the rising vassal-- in this case Israel. It is what empires do. Only the naive broadcasters of the Jerusalem Center apparently haven't heard of it... Before you ask America to understand you, please try to understand the American Raj-- it is just one more run-of-the-mill Empire, who behaves just like one, not as you wish it would.
yes. and tgere’s many in Israel (our Right) who understand it and we don’t view America as an ally. we view it as a covert enemy and just want it to be outed in this role. we want it to say it out loud and get the consequences: no one should ever trust it, and if it wants to become an empire, it will have to do it the old way, throw warfare and military conquest. enough with the hypocrisy, enough with the fake allyship, enough with the talk. if America wants to be an empire, it needs to earn this title honestly and wear its new face of the brutal bully with pride, or slide into the shadows of its shame, dishonor and disgrace that comes with its current true face of a cowardly, treacherous, vile lying bully that first of all betrayed everything it told its people about its values. it has abandoned these values and it needs to be forced to admit it.

You can have only 20% of the shares of a company, but if you control all appointments, and supply half their stuff, you are in control.
Some people in the world try and get along and believe that it's possible for there to be such a world but in reality as Scripture teaches all things revolve around God and not the other way around. And sinful man wants to try and judge a righteous God and that is how this fallen, sin-cursed world works but ultimately what is happening is good versus evil. But again, some people still think that everyone can get along and try for that end in the face of a people who have no intentions regardless of what they say they have no intention of doing anything other than to destroy everyone and everything that doesn't line up with the exact thinking of those in their group. [And where do I stand, I stand right here: God bless Israel always and Jewish people worldwide always and USA hopefully will continue to bless Israel always!
