Does an MXR Carbon Copy sounds Floydish ?

Here is a very short video of me testing some quick settings with the MXR Carbon Copy. I love this pedal, but it's quite too dark and throaty for Pink Floyd as expected. But I tried to be close as possible from something usable.

I agree with you for the Wall and everything after. But an analog delay like the Carbon Copy sounds amazing for his 70s stuff, especially on songs like Time.

You're right, but still, I find it a bit too dark. I mean, with my setup. I'd rather use my TC Flashback.

@@fatblacksun3494 Personally it adds a little extra punch to it, I love the early Floyd stuff, but I personally think it adds a little somethin' extra.

I have many Gilmour pedals, Rat soun like a Big Muff + Tube Driver, you can play all Gilmour's solo with it.

You're right, but it depends also on which amp and pickups you're using of course ! And the volume and place (room, venue, etc...). For a homestudio, I found the RAT absolutely stunning with single coils. But I do prefer my Skreddy Pedal P19 for Wall-ish sound in bedrum setup.
