On this video I go through the process of adding blue devil head gasket repair/sealer to a Dodge with a blown head gasket. The gasket is so bad that it floods the spark plugs and the car does not turn on. Lets see if this product really works to fix this head gasket without removing the head.

Just an idea.... If you're going to experiment and try something I highly suggest maybe following the directions exactly how they are written. There's a reason for doing things in the proper order that way you have a pretty good idea if something worked or not. I also recommend against picking and choosing which part of the instructions you want to follow the reason why they say that I look for 50 minutes and then letting it cool down and not driving it for specific amount of time is because what you see that stuff did to your motor than the residue you have everywhere under the hood is what it's going to do and supposed to do when it's circulate throughout the system I don't know again I'm just a female so what the hell do I know have a good day😂

I tried blue devil pour and go at first and didn’t take thermostat out. I folled directions and let it sit for 50 mins but little did I know my heater core was clogged up and that’s why I wasn’t getting any heat in the cabin. So since I wasn’t getting proper coolant circulation in my system I drained it and then the next day my gasket tester kit came in the mail so I done a head gasket chemical test on it and the liquid turned green from blue. The kit works like this… You pour the blue chemical in the flask and put it in your radiator opening. then you squeeze the bulb and if the blue liquid turns yellow then you have a blown head gasket. Since my liquid turned green that told me that I have a small leak in the head gasket even after The 1st batch of pour and go blue devil. So I replaced my heater core and got my heat working and coolant flowing good then I bought the non pour and go bottle and took my thermostat out and followed the instructions carefully. Let it cool down and drained the blue devil and refilled with coolant and the used my gasket tester kit again to see if it turned green again and was very impressed with blue devil! My tester liquid was as blue as it was when it came out of the bottle!! So very impressed and as far as I can tell there is no damage to my car system and boy does it feel good to have my heat back at the start of this winter!!

If you were to have read the instructions you would have seen your supposed to pour it in super SLOW!! Should have taken you well over a minute just to pour half of the amount you're pouring into it. But hey I'm just a woman so what do I know right?

I used a RISLONE product (not blue devil) in my high mileage Subaru a little while back. Solved the coolant loss but within 4 weeks the heater core sprung a TERRIBLE physical leak and I had to bypass the heater because there is NO WAY I’d be able to replace that part. Car ran fine until I got another car and was able to sell it with full disclosure of the missing heater and leak of course. Don’t think I’d use a similar product in a vehicle I planned on keeping too long BUT your video has given me an idea to up the scrap value of the “no start” MDX I’ve got sitting around

I have a 01 explorer sport trac I recently did an engine swap on it because of a head gasket problem, I've since then began to rebuild the 4.0 that came out of it ,the engine I swapped it with came out of my 98 explorer, I tried different sealers and I guess they worked for awhile but not very long enough time to get the other engine ready to swap, but yeah they work for awhile and I've even saw people that its lasted for a couple of yrs ,anyway good video stay safe and god bless

Oh my gosh we finally agree on something yes this video was quite entertaining😂

That’s about all it was entertaining because with the blue devil it is very important that you follow the directions to the letter even pouring the stuff in slowly , and he never said one word about flushing the system another very important step in using this product. Am I going to say it work 100% of the time I doubt that but following the directions to the tee it will work just about every time. I’ve used it twice the first time the car had 280 k miles and I sold that car a year later with 300k on it. It works

Any way you could post a video of how you got the Dodge running after the plugs got soaked ?

I don't have a video. But what i did was pull out and dry all plugs then i turned the engine over to spit out the coolant inside the cylinders. And put everything back together. In my case i had to drain the radiator so water wouldn't get back in the engine. Thats how bad the leak was.
